Indeed, Member "Skullorchard" gave the lowdown beautifully, in his Post #14 from back in 2014. Sofia Milos was introduced to a huge audience as a goddess. If I recall, there was even a line in the Sopranos episode in which she appeared, to the effect of how even her toenail clippings called to be worshipped.

I suppose she felt she had an image to protect, as she has been notoriously shy about exposing the goods. There are only three posts on this VEF thread that was begun a whole big, fat dozen years ago, which managed to come up with some degree of "exposure," demonstrating how successful the actress appears to have been with jealously guarding her flesh, beginning with:

So what are you telling me? That we can't expect anything that comes close to real nudity from this remarkable woman?



Sofia appeared in the sole theatrical appearance of Tim Meadows' bumbling lothario character from Saturday Night Live (which also featured the always-welcome Julianne Moore), in the year of 2000. The Ladies Man was released in October. Sofia's impactful gangster TV episode, "Commendatori," aired in February, so it is not difficult to speculate that the producers of the film took notice, and sought her out.

Below is the money shot, the bottom edge of which is not readily visible in copies of the film. Even in a nude scene, Sofia takes no chances and wears pasties. This is very depressing.




Sofia was not an overnight success; she had been at the game for seven years, and has appeared in many notable titles. Before The Sopranos, she appeared in eighteen episodes of Cafe Americain (1993-1994) and in the 1994 episode of Friends, the idea of the character she played was a "breathtaking beauty."




Sofia was also in twenty episodes of another TV series, Caroline in the City (1997-1998), and after her big Sopranos recognition, in multiple episodes of some half a dozen series, most plentifully in Desire, from 2006 (58 episodes), and CSI: Miami, from 2003-2009 (60 episodes).
