Thanks for the info about shirley cheriton, microskirt. I remember in a later episode of "Angels", one patient not being able to tell the difference between a rather cute ginger nurse from an almost as cute chinese nurse!

Just the Dana 'problem' to sort out now and I'll know for definite who my first crush was. I'd better get on it now!

Edit: Done it. Dana won eurovision in 1970 and Elizabeth Sladen started in Doctor Who in 1973, so on the face of it, it would seem that Dana should take the title. But she was still on TV after Elizabeth left Doctor Who and I clearly remember being desperate for Elizabeth, So it looks like I'll never know for sure who was my first celeb lust-crush.

When I was a very young lad in the late '80s I recall having a bit of a crush on Debbie McGee, the wife/'lovely assistant' of magician Paul Daniels...

However, my first major crush was on Louise Redknapp/Nurding- I thought she was ruddy wonderful...and still do!

I've had a good think, and I would have to say it would be her also, if only for the fact I can't think of anyone else who stands out in my mind from that era.
