Another version
here's my version of the Roxy concert (with audio) . This was rescued from a very old VHS tape of mine....I cropped and edited what I could and this is what I have....

Chaka didn't pose for Playboy, Players, Penthouse, Oui, or any other men's magazine of the time. The closest that I can remember was she was a cover feature in JET Magazine at least twice.
Chaka in her day was impossibly sexy. She drove men (including yours truly) wild. Had she posed nude I would've bought three or more copies of whatever magazine that was. I remember one of her theatrical costumes was a pair of silver bell-bottom pants with a matching silver halter top. A buddy of mine and I were in the fifth row orchestra at the old Felt Forum at Madison Square Garden when she went on stage. We both bum-rushed the stage !       |
