So, to get this scene back to as pristine a version as possible I've combined the Blu-ray version with the brief flash from the VHS. I also included a few slo-mos of the flash as even uncensored it's very quick. Because of these edits there's no sound on the clip.

A little known film featured nude scenes of little known actresses, which made me think some VEF attention should be paid to them. It was meant to be a quick job, but the film also starred Jean Seberg, and since I was grabbing the shots for the small-time ladies, maybe I should also do the same with Jean, since surely Jean must have her own VEF thread. As often happens, the Jean Seberg job expanded, and I came across her appearance in 1966's A Fine Madness, and the trailer led to a semi-nude appearance of another actress.

That was Sue Ane Langdon. Maybe I should put up shots of her, as well? A search revealed Sue Ane had this big old thread lovingly devoted to her, since 2009. Say, hold on a minnit. Are we talking about Sue Ane Langdon? The fluffy staple of variety and game shows (as I knew her, anyway)?

I also noticed this actress has her own discussion thread, and its first page revealed Sue Ane Langdon had exposed her derriere in The Rounders. The scene had been censored, as now-inactive Member "Marktheshark" wrote a decade ago, but luckily, a moderator performed this edit:

I was delighted that the promised land would soon be within easy reach, and yet when I clicked on the link, I got a "You do not have permission to access this page" message, with one of the two reasons being that "the administrator may have disabled your account." After I got over my heart attack, I presumed this is the message that comes up when a post has been deleted. That meant the fabled ass shot was gone!

This meant I had to go through the wonderful posts that have been placed here in the hopes that the ass shot has been reproduced elsewhere, and the resulting scrutiny led to the wish of giving my reaction to some of the fine contributions. In order to do that, I needed to come up with content (since, as you are likely aware, this is a not a "discussion" thread). So I stopped everything else I was working on, to see what I could dig up. (Everything in this post is original, by the way, save for recycles from the thread that I felt were worthy of bringing to your attention once again.)



Last year's Post #129 had Member "Rlg118" make a joke about David McCallum rubbing his eyes after being hit by Sue Ane's torpedoes (thanks to this thread, I have learned that Sue Ane not only had buttocks, but also a bosom). I figured I could offer screen shots of 1964's The Man from U.N.C.L.E. episode of "The Shark Affair." Ten years ago, Qwerty17 wrote, "Aged 46, still hot, in Zapped!" (Post #16, 2011); not long ago, I made reference to this 1982 film in a post for the Heather Thomas thread (the exposed breasts from this movie were not hers), mentioning it had been a long time since I saw this film, one that appealed to my perversions. When I read this mention here, I thought, that's right! Sue Ane was in this movie, and in the cobwebs of my mind, I recalled that I had myself concluded Sue Ane looked sexy.


This is one of Qwerty17's photos that I attempted to improve.

You may see from Sue Ane's IMDb filmography that she had reprised her role in the sorry sequel. This was evidently her last screen acting role, at age fifty-four. (With her gifts, she could have easily kept going, and I wonder why she hung it up at a relatively early age.)

It has been a long time since I have seen 1990's Zapped Again!, and I dimly started remembering the reason for my disappointment had a lot to do with this film's reluctance to get down and dirty. Indulge me as I go a little off-topic here and demonstrate that aside from the nudity of one other actress, the two main "selling points" were:


The first photo represents "comeuppance" against the movie's bad girl, Maria McCann, which was actually pretty alluring.
The second is a dress uplift of the hot teacher, played by Linda Blair. The film also featured Karen Black.

Some views of our lady from this film; she plays the school's stuffed shirt authority figure, and the imposing Lyle Alzado, as Coach Kirby, is the muscle.





See, this is classic Sue Ane Langdon. She was a marvelous comedic actress, one reason I never regarded her as a sexpot.




Allow me to offer a few odds and ends, before finishing up with how we would all prefer to see Sue Ane Langdon (or most anyone else who packs an extra "X" chromosome). I wished to commend Qwerty17 for offering his marvelous shots of our lady from Laugh-In (Post #125, 2020).

When the Boys Meet The Girls (1965) is another film version of the Gershwins' musical, Girl Crazy, with Connie Francis and Harve Presnell following in the footsteps of Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney. In the opinion of one IMDb reviewer, Sue Ane Langdon, as Harve's golddigging former girlfriend, was an important highlight. The photo below is from Member "Womwam" (Post #47), and Qwerty17 covered similar ground in his Posts #117-118, two years ago.



Back in 2018, Banned! Member "Rodak," in Post #104, offered the first image below. The next shot is a frame grab of mine. Sue Ane played a prostitute in Madam Shirley Jones' brothel (with the same name as the 1970 film's title, The Cheyenne Social Club, directed by Gene Kelly), which an embarrassed Jimmy Stewart, as one of two drifters, has inherited. His pal, Henry Fonda, is being serviced by Sue Ane, and the lobby card appears to have made a point of attempting to lasso in more viewers, by accentuating two particular attributes.

The first still below is from Berigan (Post #14, 2011), a shot that has been put up numerous times in the thread, sometimes autographed by Sue Ane. In one of his posts, Qwerty17 identified the shot as deriving from Playboy. The next view is from Post #2, courtesy of Member "Gregj1967."

The first is the "best-resolution shot" Qwerty17 managed to find of the skinny-dipping scene from 1965's The Rounders. In Post #51, 2013, Qwerty17 provided a valuable explanation as to what Sue Ane thought during the shooting of this scene.

The second shot you see above is a remarkable find, a genuine and rare Sue Ane "nudie." In Post #52, 2013, Qwerty17 explained it had been previously posted, but the first appearance on this thread must have been taken down during the passage of the years, so all hail Qwerty17 again for the valuable photo's preservation.



The first shot above is from Sue Ane's “bareback-with-boa” photo session, nicely revealing of "side-boob." It's from Qwerty17's Post #66, 2014. The second is Qwerty17's original (I didn't fiddle with it), from Post #10, 2010, presented as a nice side-by-side comparison. (Her hair is longer, indicating perhaps a different shoot? Far more likely, she donned a wig.)

Before we get to the big finale, that of the elusive bare ass, Berigan offered what's below (reworked by me) from his Post #39, 2012, and it's one that Member "Bozoclown" had also made use of in his Post #4, 2009. The photo is from "The Challenge," a 1968 episode of Ironside.



Even though those fabled cheeks are sadly covered, there is no argument. That is one fine rear end.

So I went through the thread, and finally, on the last page, the holy grail I was looking for came up, thanks to Member "Spooled," in his Post #144 from above. I decided to single out the bottom belonging to Sue Ane Langdon. (I don't know how Qwerty17 so decisively concluded "that is her authentic and wonderful ass," as he wrote in the last post above, but he is the Langdon expert around here.) I later discovered what I was searching for was under my nose the whole time, provided by Gregj1967, in his big assortment of photos from the second post in this thread, from January of 2009. Must give a shout-out as well to the forum member who started the first Sue Ane Langdon thread, way back in 2004 or so, which was lost when VEF had a huge data crash a year or so after that (as I recall). That would be “raritan17” (no relation, even though we share the same last name, “17” ). He was the fellow who also started the Tina Louise thread (which is still up). Many of the images posted in the early pages of this current thread were recycled screen-shots or magazine scans people had captured from that earlier thread raritan17 initiated. He hasn’t posted since 2007 so perhaps he’s gone on to the “Great Red Light District” in the sky…

Regarding my affirming that it’s Sue Ane’s real bare bottom shown in the “Rounders” (but a body-double for Hope Holiday) that info comes from more than one source, among them newspaper interviews she gave (one or two of which are cited earlier in this thread) and a radio interview I heard long ago when she was in Columbus Ohio for a show with the Kenley Players. In each case she confirmed she had no problems going bare on set “so long as it was for comedy and never dirty” (paraphrasing here).

Speaking of Kenley Players (as I mentioned back in post #8, I saw her on stage in “Butterflies are Free” back in 1972) I can add a personal anecdote. The sister of one of my college friends had a summer job at Memorial Hall as a wardrobe girl for the main stars. In the between-act costume changes she got an eyeful of Sue Ane in bra (or not ) and panties, and later she told me “I’ve never seen a firmer, more perfect pair of buttocks in my life!” Bearing in mind that in summer of 1972 Sue Ane was 36 years old, that’s quite a testament to her early training as a dancer. And when they shot “Rounders”, she was just 28! That ass must have been a heavenly thing to behold indeed, in person…

There IS still a “holy grail” out there I’d love to find—Sue Ane mentions in her interview with Tom Lisanti (author of “Drive In Dream Girls”) that she “almost” agreed to pose for a Playboy centerfold in 1958 but got an offer to appear in the Steve Allen show so declined (damn you, Steve Allen!). According to a 1959 “gentleman’s” mag I saw eons ago (can’t recall which) her bits were as a walk-on cue card girl who sashayed on camera in very fetching attire (as far as the 1950s would allow, in any event). There “must” be surviving kinescopes or some such of those early shows, it would be great if anyone can track them down!
