Carole Landis - Bra Cup Size

Online info states Carole Landis was a 34C. I've never seen a photo of her where she didn't look like a D, and in most cases DD. Anyone aware of a well-sourced measurement for her?

I’m not sure who Carol Landis is, but bra sizes have always fascinated me (or more particularly cup-sizes) and confused me. I had a girlfriend in the late-90s who said she was a C-cup, and I did see a label, but I thought surely she was bigger, more likely a D. And the wife of a close friend (who was in her own words, almost flat-chested at 20) used to brag (at 30-odd) she was “now a D-cup” after two pregnancies, but seemed slightly smaller than the aforementioned girlfriend.

So, God knows how it all works. Perhaps it's an optical illusion.
