My final wanted post is thanks to a post by tsunamiSD spotted in the Vintage American Actresses thread also in this section.

If the actresses are labled left to right then the lady in the see thru top is Wilma Wray. My hope is that these outfits are in the film somewhere.

No sooner had I posted about I Dag Begynder Livet (1939), the Amazing Conillet aquired it.

It does not disappoint.

There is a blond lady without a bra in a white top and a sturdy brunette in a nightie who nude models later on. There is even a flash of her hair.

Cent Francs Par Seconde (1952) features a braless lady in a white nighty. The short scene is better in motion because of the nice wobble.

Flottare Med Färg (1952) has a subtle scene with Erna Groth where the light gives a very slight but deliberate see thru effect that was used to lure in punters in the publicity photo.

Alex3z reminded me that I had missed this Swedish classic from my list.

It has an all female sauna sequence with strong lesbian overtones. Those Scandinavians - always ahead of the permissive curve.

Reminds me of the classic joke "How do you view lesbian relationships?" Answer "In HD." (no disrespect intended to our female appreciating sisters.)

Many years before "Germany's first nude scene" (proved wrong many times on this thread) from Hildegard Knef in Die Sünderin (1951) she treated us to this nice nipple outline in Unter den Brücken (1944). Also appearing in a slightly see thru nightie is Hannelore Schroth. She also has a nude modeling scene but in shadow only.

Real life Russian aristocrat and prima ballerina Ludmilla Tchérina gives us some quick mirror topless action in Un Revenant (1946). She also wears a slightly see thru black top after redressing - there may be a support layer built in but it is still see thru.

Die Hexe (1954) is an example of my favourite type of these films. A totally mainstream film where most of the cinema audience probably did not realise. This lovely blonde lady wears a see thru nightie in bed and jiggles and reveals when the position is just right (see last two caps of her for the best view). There is also a very very distant getting out of the water after a nude swim but you can't see much.

In the last few days Elonet dot finna dot fi has started posting new films again. This is my go to resource for Finnish films. The great thing about them is that years ago I would comb through the certificate 16 films but then gradually realised that some of the best scenes are in the 7 and even S (family)

I love this super quick moment from Poikamies-Pappa (1941) where Annakaarina gets changed into her nightie. It is filmed tastefully from behind but then she has to sit up to let it fall giving us a view of her naked behind. Lovely. I like this also because you then realise that she is naked under the nightie for all of those scenes. I was hoping that a bit more would be shown in caps 7 and 8 where she gets out of bed but it is a nice idea.
