Some years later she gets famous as a successful singer with three Grammy Awards and as co-starring actress in the Schwarzenegger blockbuster "ERASER".

I always found it strange that the only Miss America to be stripped of her title in disgrace, and causing a argument about if it was a racially motivated sacking some thought that P*******e published to unseat the first black winner, for what it's worth I think they did it to make money (shocking I know), was the only one to make a very successful career.

I remember reading that when she made it as a huge singing star, which she was which is forgotten as she is seen as an actress, someone presented the PH edition which published the pics that caught her expelled from her crown. The story goes that she looked at the magazine, smiled, and signed it.

I think this shows that she appreciated that for all the upset it caused her it helped her become rich, famous, and a star......it shows her to be an intelligent business woman...then again her parents are professors so maybe it is no surprise

Photographer Timothy White not too long ago put out a coffee table book about Hollywood Pin-ups. As part of it he photographed some current actresses in the old pin-up style. I thought people might be interested in seeing some of those.
