Best Playboy pictorial

What is your all-time favorite PB pictorial? Mine is the August 1989 French Revoltion pictorial titled "Off With Their Clothes!" The photoshoot by Byron Newman showed up in various foreign editions of the bunny mag, as well as other publications such as Lui and Excelsior. Its headliner was Marina Baker, but it also had numerous other nude European models of the age such as Donna Ewin.

I don't have the scans but there was a pictorial in the late 60's I believe with a Roman Orgy theme that I found very hot.

Any non-PMOM pictorial is valid. It doesn't have to have PMs.

You're probably thinking of the "Roman Revel" pictorial in the January 1970 issue.

I always wondered why they didn't take pictures when the lifeguards were heading back

In this post, I'm going to stick to PMOM pictorials. While it's very subjective (it depends on your opinion of the model), there were definitely some PMOM pictorials that really didn't flatter initially, though later content really did show off the Playmate's beauty (an obvious example is India Allen, along side many of the "over-posed" pictorials). However, there were many others that were done really well, and flattered the model beyond what the other pictorials the Playmate might have done for Playboy, or other outlets. Either a very natural style, or a pictorial with a very romantic, or otherwise interesting, theme were good for making a Playmate memorable.
