Couple comparisons of the VHS vs BLuray versions. The (claimed) Bluray transfer is clearer, but suffers from the usual cropping on the top/bottom. More in her thread from Pygar77.

Gillian Anderson in Straightheads 2007 in-production trailer showed her nipples in a shower scene while it was cut off due to framing in the final release.

there was a production leak that showed a bunch of stuff, including a couple cuts of the shower scene. They were awful small due to form factors of the day.

Check out the English version called "Straightheads" instead of the international "Closure".

I have a bunch of downloads n dupes of the whole incident somewhere, probably cd if it's any good. (cds last generations my ass)

I know I posted several collages way back when it happened in about '06 while it was in production, but all the forums i was on then (celebworld, celebritycity, celebutopia, bwgreyscale, pinkdevils) are all long gone. The originals will be in PSD, I'm on the road so it'll be months before I go home, sorry.

edit : Man, even old GAWS has shutdown, that place was THE Gilly authority.

It happens in "Don't Answer the Phone " It's really disappointing how Joyce Ann Jodan's lovely breasts are cut off in the opening part of the scene where she comes out of the bathroom into the living room. Only in the oldest version which is not remastered can you see the full frame and as the scene continues her legs are somewhat shortened as well. The version on Prime is still the old one. The film was made available on Blu-ray not that long ago and looks great except for the cropping.

This is the best quality version of the in production trailer i have. Definitely shots that didn't make it into the final film including the cropped shot of Gillian in the shower (how i'd love to see the shot from waist up with both of her tits on glorious show!) Science fiction movies thrive in widescreen to help convey the expansiveness of outer space, but the viewer really gets ripped off in Supernova with Robin Tunney. There's a 20 second scene where 3 crew members strip down while one is telling a joke, in the WS version you only get a brief look in the beginning at Robin's fantastic breasts but during the open matte version they are on display the entire time. This is significant because she wasn't naked very often, and for my money this is her best topless scene - but only in the open matte!

Here are side-by-side comparisons between the versions as capped from my DVD which contains both (thankfully!)

When I started this thread, the European TV open matte version of Showgirls (1995) was one of the centerpeices. But I could not provide video because of the encoding format. Technology has moved on and I can now edit HVEC videos. So here is the full scene with that wonderful kick that shows everything that Elizabeth has to offer.
