I agree. A lot of her appeal is her total lack of difficulty with what she was doing. She wasn't doing it to shock people (no leering triumphantly at the camera), or to get even with her loony parents. I don't even think it was the money; she was about 22 when she started, and probably hadn't had many jobs before. So she had no sense of "it's this or wait on tables" in what she did. And she was wonderfully healthy looking - no makeup covering the damage from all that hard living. Although, come to think of it, during her later hair- dyed- black period, she did look a little, uh, tired in some scenes.

I love how she took that facial in Sound of Love. However, I don't like the way the scene was edited. Boy would I love to see the rushes, that is the scene as it came out of the camera. Because the editor cut the shot way too soon. I would have loved to see what happened after the scene was cut. So either the editor did a bad job, either the cameraman stopped filming too soon, leaving the editor no choice. I hope it was the editor. Because that would mean that somewhere there might be a reel of film with the rest of the scene.
