(There is, btw, a strange occurrence and possible mix-up with the credits regarding her appearance(s) in this series. There were three movies made in this "franchise", all starring Richard Harris: A Man Called Horse (1970), Return of a Man Called Horse (1976) and Triumphs of a Man Called Horse (1983). IMDB has Ana De Sade listed as appearing in both 2 and 3, yet with different character names ("Moon Star" and "Redwing"). The actual end credits on the movie print itself also supports this. But from what I can tell watching it, this Ana De Sade is not at all appearing in 2 (Return of...), even though it's a still from that movie as her profile pic on IMDb. The pic is from a scene with a woman that is clearly not her, but someone who seems to be genuinely of American native origin. If anyone knows anything about this weirdness, I'd appreciate the info... )

Some caps from her very first film role, as "The Prostitute" in Alejandro Jodorowsky's infamous The Holy Mountain (1973), perhaps the most surreal/psychedelic/repulsive big-budget movie ever made.

Though I still can't find any birth info on her online, she's clearly no more than 18 in this; the awkward girlish way she walks and runs isn't typically how a woman past 20 back in the 70's would move. So 1955 - 1957 is probably a close guess for her birth year.

I found Ana in a tiny role in a movie that could've made it big, but didn't -- maybe because it came out the week before the first Indiana Jones, Raiders of The Lost Ark, and hence practically disappeared.

It's called High Risk (1981), and is at best a small cult movie today. Apparently it was independently financed and therefore in the public domain today, which might explain why there is no blu-ray or even a good DVD copy to find online (guessing no company will do that process when they don't own the exclusive rights).

The movie has some real big names, though (especially at the time): Anthony Quinn, Ernest Borgnine, James Brolin, Lindsay Wagner, Bruce Davison, and even James Coburn as the drug-boss main villain Serrano, living on a huge hacienda in Mexico with his girlfriend. Who? Ana De Sade, of course!

Her character isn't on screen much, and is only ever named Serrano's Woman in the credits - but as usual the camera zooms in for a dwelling close-up every time she appears. (Her beauty seems to do that to directors and cinematographers...)

I've uploaded the tiny vid of her brief bits here; it's from an insanely crappy VHS-rip, nothing else seems available as far as I know (if anyone has anything else, I'd love to hear about it).
