Don't believe all you read in the papers. The article was mistaken afaik Anita never posed for Mayfair.
On another note I had a kiss of Miss Harris.....ok I was 4 and it was a Sooty Show at Butlins....but it was a kiss

These pictures are from King Magazine published in the 60s, which, I understand, was bought out by Mayfair. I still have the mag, and the original scan above was done by me and posted on another site years ago.

With all due respect @llatse@’s very confident statement “Anita never posed nude for Mayfair” needs some qualification. Does he mean that the nude set is not of A.H. or does he mean that it did not appear in Mayfair? I approach this question from the point of view of one whose business it is to study faces, particularly photographed faces. Applying the standard criteria for matching (to long to explain here) I’d say that the nude model stands a very good chance of being A.H.If @llatse@ has definite information to the effect that the pics are not of A.H. perhaps he could publish it.

I think her pictures appeared in Mayfair Volume 2 Issue #10 = October 1967.

(I did a google search which turned up a web site selling copies of this issue for $98.00).

The pictures shown in the previous entry came from Mayfair Magazine for October 1967,

BobL, Are you talking about the pics that are in Post#3, in which case see Post#4, or some other pictures of Anita Harris?

I can clarify, since I have a copy of the issue with the golden girl on the cover. There are definitely no nude pictures of Anita inside. There is an article about her that contains a photo, fully clothed, which is printed on those shitty thick tan coloured pages that the mag used to contain.

The golden girl is Miss Mayfair, the main centrefold of that issue. She isn't named, but its not Anita.

You can imagine my dissapointment when, after years of searching, I finally acquired a copy of the relevant issue, only to find the article referred to.

The images I discuss earlier were from King magazine, which I still have.

What is not clear to me is whether the text on the cover of Mayfair means there was a pictorial of her inside, or not. BobL seems to say so, but it's not clear to me which post he's referring to. Was the pictorial from King magazine that angler12 discusses, which I presume is shown in the post by 3044biggles01, perhaps simply reprinted in Mayfair?

The cover girl on Mayfair 2/10 is named as Joy and features on a spread in the magazine
