To celebrate my 100th post

here's this fine lady, Joelle Carter, who played Ava Crowder on FX's Justified for 6 seasons and has made numerous appearances both on television and films. Born on October 10, 1972, and her Imdb page says she started her acting career in 1996.

This lady is seriously pretty. All the more heartbreaking that she seems to have gone out of her way in the nearly seventy titles she has accumulated (thus far) in a career span of almost three decades, to keep her skin to herself at all costs.

The actual lovemaking in JUSTIFIED was handled in the most cursory manner, lasting for the blink of an eye.

I'm discovering Justified, a six-season crime show that lasted from 2010-2015, and Joelle Carter was a series regular, beginning as a woman under suspicion of breaking the law, with whom the hero is not supposed to get involved with, but it doesn't take long for even "Mr. Cool" to realize what is more important. (I mean, come on. How could any man resist someone who looks like this, especially if she's behaving in a very friendly manner?) In 2010's fifth episode ("The Lord of War and Thunder") they get it on for the second time, and these photos illustrate how the love scene was handled.

This tall glass (at 5′ 9½″ / 1.77 m) of sparkling H₂O had other TV shows where she appeared as a regular or semi-regular, but none to the extent of her success with Justified. In Home Before Dark, she appeared in all twenty episodes of the 2020-2021 series (where she played a principal; then pushing fifty, sadly no longer thought of for the babe roles), and her more noteworthy series efforts following Justified were thirteen episodes (that was the entire run) of Chicago Justice (in 2017), four episodes of Scandal in 2016 (as well as a program called Dirty John from 2018-2020, in which she appeared for five episodes).

This peach who was born and raised in Georgia (the state President Jimmy Carter once presided over as governor; Joelle's dad's name actually was Jimmy Carter, with no relation) could have made the nudity concession earlier in her career, especially for the privilege of appearing a film from a famed franchise, 2001's American Pie 2, where she is in bed with Jason Biggs before embarrassingly being discovered by his parents. But noooooooooo! The spoilsport clung on to her modesty as a leech on a bare leg wading in a swamp. She was twenty-eight or twenty-nine-years-old.

One would need to go through her entire run to know for sure, but it seems the only time Joelle allowed for the camera to unapologetically get close to her epidermis was in Swimming, an independent coming-of-age feature film from 2000, where Myrtle Beach, South Carolina resident Frankie (Lauren Ambrose, as pictured below) is best friends with wilder girl Nicola.
