Which playmates had the biggest natural breast?

Bust size (40, 38, etc) is the bone beneath the bosom. Cup size (D, FF, etc) is above. I think Rosemarie Hillcrest had the largest bust. And I think Janet Lupo had the largest cup size. Embarrassment of riches, because we all love all the women name-checked here so far!

I’m glad so many VEF members weighed in on this subject, because it’s a chance to speak about nearly all of my favorite PMs. I tried to answer the question in a post on another thread by setting up a competition among my three favorite PMs, but I thought I might share a thought here as well. Size is not a simple matter, even for fashion designers. Voluptuous women measure differently, depending on whether they flex or relax their chest muscles, and whether they stand or bend over. Women with strong chest muscles can rein in their breasts by flexing, and can drop their breasts farther when they relax, because strong muscles tend to be more elastic and stretch farther (see Olympic athletes). So the breasts of strong women may appear to be smaller or larger depending on their pose. And compared to women with dense breasts, women with softer, suppler breasts can drop their breasts farther when they bend over. That's why fashion designers ask voluptuous women to relax and to measure themselves both standing and bending over, so the larger measurement can be used.

It’s possible, of course, that PB simply published the measurements that PMs gave them, but if not, PMs were probably standing when PB measured them. I imagine PMs probably raised themselves at that moment to their full heights, tensed themselves, threw their shoulders back, took deep breaths and held them to expand their chests, and tightened their abs, so they would appear as curvaceous as possible to a tape measure. But that method would have disadvantaged certain PMs, especially petite PMs who were already disadvantaged in the measurement game because their chests were smaller, even though their breasts were not.

Karen Price is a wonderful case in point. She is petite, but perhaps the strongest, most athletic PM of all time, so she can project her breasts quite nicely when she arches her back and flexes her chest.



But when she does, Karen’s breasts don’t appear quite a large as they do in her other poses. Note what happens when she hunches her shoulders, relaxes her chest, and lets her breasts fall. They’re suddenly larger—seriously larger.



And when Karen bends over or gets down on all fours, her breasts are larger still, because they distend so beautifully. They drop past her elbows--a long, long way from her chest.



Size is relative, even for spectacular women like Karen. It depends on the pose. So it’s possible that Karen (who measured 38 inches) and other athletic PMs with soft, pliant breasts, like Marilyn Lange (who measured 39 inches), might win a fair contest. Their photos tell us as much.



Circumference can be misleading, especially when the contestants are flexed, inflated, and standing up, and chest size is conflated with breast size. I for one wouldn’t mind seeing all of these incredibly beautiful women compete properly for the title of the greatest of all, but alas, we’ll have to settle for comparing our favorite PMs in the poses they and PB have shared with us. I’m happy with that. Let the competition begin.

P.S. – If you ever wondered if the question in this thread matters to VEF fans, take a look at the “thread ratings” for the top ranked softcore models on VEF, and see which PMs have risen to the top (I don’t include the one PM in the top tier who has had an extensive post-PB softcore career). All 12 rank in the top 26 among all softcore models on VEF, and 6 in the Top Ten. Amazing, since 6551 softcore models have threads on VEF. In order:

It is only then that a slightly less fantastically endowed PM appears among top-rated softcore models, but she’s followed promptly by Alana Soares.

All PMs are all beautiful, but vintage fans especially love beautiful PMs who have ample natural breasts. It’s amazing that PB forgot that almost completely after the mid-1980s.
