How safe is keep2share?

I know we all have our favourite hosts, and some are bad and some are well, almost good, sometimes. But I was just asking about kee2share, the reason being that recently I bought a premium membership. For a start, it claims it's verified by Visa, but you never get a verified by visa logon during the payment process. This perhaps should have set alarm bells ringing. Anyway, membership went through, downloads were adequate etc etc.

I very rarely use the visa card I paid with, and am very very careful about online use with it. But, anyway, about a week later I get a notification of a fraudulent transaction from the States, about $1500 from an online travel agent. I get the card cancelled and the transaction cancelled, so no money lost, but it got me thinking where the card was copied from. There were three possible locations, two were pretty legitimate when I was physically there, and then there was keep2share. The membership has now expired and I'm reluctant to renew in case it happens again. Am I being paranoid?

No, I would not buy a membership from them as they are having problems with pay services cancelling on them.

I just tried to renew and am having a real problem with them in the form of several additional unauthorized charges. I will never use them again. Stay away.

Me, like ''Mace'', have some several additional unauthorized charges on my card used to buy at them, if you can buy with paypal, it is good, the speed for download are good as premium...

K2S are not daft, they ken that the vast majority of uploads are copyrighted material. Remember oron? K2S are essentially the same.
Never pay these 'companies' guys, links can be found elsewhere for free.

Interesting. I have purchased an account several times with this site and have never had a problem with billing. Only Problem I've had recently was trying to get my files uploaded.

For me the payment it is a problem, as premium user, rest look ok...

ok cool. I guess the only complaint is the links can be found elsewhere for free.
