I use ad blockers and a browser that deals with trackers so see none of these problems.

Thanks to Jazz67 for moving my post here I didn't realise there was a thread for this host.
I was trying to download the last file in the Hayley Jane Russell thread.
I will have a good read of this thread.
only tried using Chrome. I don't usually download video files from here only Images.
But "Hayley" well i made an exeption.

Try using JDownloader2 to grab files like these, that helps a lot. You can copy the URL from the post here and it autouploads into the programme

I like Scott T stated, also use AdBlockers and I also use a VPN to cut out a lot of the rubbish around. I use FireFox for looking around here and other forums, i've added UBlock and Adblock Plus.

Let us know how you get on?

Thanks Guy's simply opening this site threw Firefox did the trick, 1fichier opened and allowed the download straight away no problem, so Chrome was the issue, Sorry for bad mouthing 1fichier,
Thanks for the advice and help, I will now look into jdownloader and the other things you mentioned,
I Know i used them years ago with another older computer, but over the years they have fallen off my radar, I will re-acquaint myself with them.

No matter from where i connect i still get this error, and i cant even log into my premium account. I asked some friends to try access 1fichier from their mobile and pc, and they are still getting that error. it seems 1fichier has blocked my country ip address. the only way 1 can access my account is by using a vpn. however my download speed is capped to 100kb/s and only 1 file can be downloaded at a time and i have to use jdownloader 2 for it to work. Contacted 1fichier many time and they replied:

Hello,

So, obviously, don't use a shared IP address (proxy/vpn/server/whatever) used to abuse of our services !

We can do nothing for you.

Do you have any solution for me besides buying CDN? Since they block the IP address from my country i am compelled to use a vpn

I've been complaining about this for a couple of days. Frustrating and have tried to change settings disabled all blockers reset my permissions dumped my cache. As I have indicated in my posts this happens to no other host I happen to use , other than 1Fichier. Just a FYI jdownloader will not add 1F links either from my clipboard or manually. This is F'ed up especially since a majority of posters have used this hoster extensively. Any ideas would be appreciated .
One ray of sunshine, if you can call it that, is that I'm not out of my mind as it is happening to others as well and my machine is not as fuked up as I anticipated. Good luck boys and hopefully this will get fixed
PS same thing happens in Brave Chrome Opera Firefox and IE

Since a recent Chrome update i've had to manually confirm RAR files as not being infected... Not linked to 1Fichier specifically, but I have to open my download queue and confirm them that way?

For 1Fichier files I have to switch my VPN off and manually grab them through FF, though I haven't had any issues you are describing above, so far...

I've got Adblock Plus and UBlock Origin switched on too for what it's worth?

As I have mentioned here before (and elsewhere) I use Brave on 1fichier and experience no problems presumably due to to Brave's automatic blocking of all trackers and adverts. But I do not use jdownloader or any other download manager.

When you go to the log-in page of 1fichier there are 2 messages:

"Consider disabling any plugin may disrupt the functioning of the site (Adblock, Ublock, ....)"

and

"Warning ! To avoid warning messages from your browser, we deactivated the setting of the authentication cookie for our other domains. To access files hosted on other domains, you must force the cookie (options) or use a compatible download manager.

So I don't know if these provide any insight but if you're not registered with 1fichier you wouldn't go to the log-on page and see the 2 messages.

I have no idea but as of today I will not try to access any 1fichier files as it a waste of time and too much grief and aggravation. So likely I will have to curtail any DLs unless there is an alternate link. Pizmeov
