Have you tried a downloadmanager like Jdownloader, as suggested many times to and by many people in this thread? It might solve your problems.

Interesting that, if I use IE and load the address of the link of the file it brings me to a google search page with the 1fichier site link.

After five years of Microsoft trying to persuade people to stop using Internet Explorer it finally went out of support in June 2022. So nobody should be using IE due to it now being extremely vulnerable.

I am starting to wonder if you have one or more viruses on your computer and/or malicious malware and maybe that is what is causing you these issues.

I tried to download from 1ficher yesterday using Firefox in free mode. I got a strange message that download has been blocked because archive is a suspicious. I use onuBlock Origin extension and some download helper extensions which never create a problem. As an antivirus I use Microsoft Defender which also is not a problem. After I clicked OK I got a file length of 0 byte, lost my free ticket a had to wait a 1 hour. After this hour passed I decided not to risk again and tried jDownloader. I downloaded my file without any problem.

Not the same but ...

I am a long time user of Firefox, along with several other Browsers (I use Brave on VEF). I also use several extensions with Firefox, mainly to block ads and third party trackers.

Recently I had an issue using Firefox with one website where trying to get from one page to another Firefox was reporting that the page was not redirecting properly and would never complete.

There followed a very long exchange of emails (over several weeks) between myself and the website's tech team in which neither they nor I could replicate what the other was seeing. Long story short we in the end established that one of my extensions was for unknown reasons creating the effect that I was seeing. By disabling that extension the issue was not occurring.

What that says to me is that Mozilla Firefox are not monitoring their extensions as rigorously as they used to and something is included within the code of that extension which is doing some kind of tracking and a side effect is what I was seeing.

So I think that the issue which you experienced could well be some new code in one of your extensions that has created the issue which you experienced.

I tried 2 links couple days ago. Therefore I don't remember what link was a problem. Both links are taken from VEF

Tried both links in Firefox normal and Firefox private window, not signed in to premium account, with and without a VPN (Netherlands, USA, Australia, Brazil), I had no problems downloading either of these files. It was pretty fast too, 7 minutes for 1.3GB.

So the only thing I can come up with is that there's a problem with your computer/browser or your ISP/location has a problem with 1Fichier.
