Enough British troops murdered by the " ordinary working man" proves you wrong.

That's what happens when you invade another country. You don't fight wars with water pistols.

One cannot expect to pose the question 'Are you a Royalist' and not expect some heated debate as a consequence.
We are after all discussing the instiution that provides this nation with its Head of State, irrespective of merit, suitablity or competence - in fact their only qulaifcation for the job is that they just happen to be the next one in the family whose turn it is. I'd like merely to make one observation in response to those who are quite relaxed about having a head of state who is un-elected. Had Edward VIII not abdicated in 1936 this nation would have inherited a monarch who was an ardent admirer of Adolf Hitler, as well as being a friend and supporter of British Union of Fascists leader Oswald Mosely. Fact! Regards.

I very much doubt Charlie will be King. His ma will live way past 100 and he will be old out of touch. One of his kids did not come from his loins. (I forget who's who) pity Phil had Diana killed. She seemed a down to earth nice person.

Particle theory & royalty
The only things known to go faster than ordinary light is monarchy, according to the philosopher Ly Tin Weedle. He reasoned like this: you can't have more than one king, and tradition demands that there is no gap between kings, so when a king dies the succession must therefore pass to the heir instantaneously. Presumably, he said, there must be some elementary particles -- kingons, or possibly queons -- that do this job, but of course succession sometimes fails if, in mid-flight, they strike an anti-particle, or republicon. His ambitious plans to use his discovery to send messages, involving the careful torturing of a small king in order to modulate the signal, were never fully expanded because, at that point, the bar closed.

The Law does not make any statement about whether any particular reference or comparison to Adolf Hitler or the Nazis might be appropriate, but only asserts that the likelihood of such a reference or comparison arising increases as the discussion progresses, irrespective of whether it's appropriate or not.
