What you write about producers looking for models that look younger, but are actually of legal age was also my first thought. But the fact that between the end of the 70s and the ealy 80s apparently films were made with girld between 16 and 18 worries me. That may have been legal then, but nowadays it is not.

Combining all that I read, I understand that she modelled for films in 3 'bursts', all between mid 70s and early 80s.

This would mean that in her last films (from the early 80s) she would at least be 18 years old, even if she would have been 15 in her earliest movies from the mid 70s (which was suggested on some places, but I could not really find any dates). If you compare her in the earlier and later films, she did 'develop'.

So it seems to me that at least her last films also are not a problem nowadays (as far as I know this are: Four Fresh Fuckers and perhaps Their First Orgy - there must also be one called Disco Gang-bang also from that time, but that I cannot find).

I've been telling this a few times already, but I can give a short synopsis of the whole thing.

Denmark legalized porn in 69. But they did not put any limitation on it, thus *everything* got legalized. even stuff we don't wanna see.
For this reason, CCC has a darker side. They published stuff of underage nature. It was legal.
However, Denmark has an age of consent law, so you could not produce this material. Only sell what you've bought from outside the borders.

CCC started to act by the law after legalization. (They obviously didn't when they produced and sold before legalization. :-p )

The reason I'm mentioning this;
It took Denmark 11 years to put new laws in place, laws that forbid CP altogether. 1980. (I think it was March)
What is an important side of this, they *knew* this law was coming way before this. Probably as early as 77-78.
So they acted on it before it had been approved in parliament.
This affects the magazine Teenage Sex.
The first one was published in 1977. So by 78 they, for sure, wouldn't use UAge models. (There are some nudist-pics where the girls are clearly that, but those pics aren't pornographic. I think they got removed in reprints though, not entirerly sure on this)

Christa, Tiny Tove, and other famous Teenage Sex models popped up around this time.
Above arguments is why I believe they are, at least, very close to legal age.

However, In my research I've been in touch with a lot of people and a few of them claims they did shoots for CC before 18, but after 16 (age of consent)
I haven't been able to verify this though, I haven't been able to find the models in question in CC-loops. So either they are lying or they *did* shoot, but not for CC.

But, from around 74-75 I do have proof of one model being 17 when appearing in CC-magazines and loops.
I won't tell who it is, though, since that will be to 'out' a person, I don't do that. (It is not Christa)

What I read from it is that after about 1879 there is only a small chance that the models are illegal by todays laws.

So, for the films I mentioned explicitely in my earlier post this would mean:

Christa here is very probably over 18 (as I more or less understood from what I read). Correct?
CANAI - First Class 9 (1998) :
almost certainly over 18, considering her looks and the year 1998. Correct?
Color Climax Film 1274 - Incestuous Love (1976) :
do you have any additional information on this film; because 1976 is around the period you describe where things changed, so any additional info would be most welcome.

I do not know anything about those films, I'm a historian.
I've never been interested in the loops.
Beside the fact that new laws came in 1980, I think they were strict in general, didn't want to mix up stuff. Remember, UA-porn *was* controversial, even though selling it was legal.
In the first years, 69-->mid 70's things might have been a bit looser, I'm sure there are models that are not 18, but I do not for a second think that CC used models that could get them into trouble.
The producer, Jens, had children of his own and he didn't really approve of that shit either.

Canai has nothing to do with CC. At all.
Candy Films, which was the CC-production studio, ceased to operate in 1983-84. Jens and Peter Theander parted ways in 1985 after a court-settlement.
So CC has not produced it's own stuff since 84, maybe 83.
It's all bought from a couple of regular freelancers. After Jens left, most of the movies was bought from US. A few might have been bought from European-producers, but mainly US. Peter thought US made quality-porn. (He didn't like what Jens was producing, eventually, in Peter's eyes Jens didn't develop, he was a Status Quo-producer. I think Jens just made what he could of the resources he had). No movies are produced by CC themselves after 83/84.

Canai is a completely different company, German I think.
