As you can see she is an accomplished author being top of the New York Best Selling list. Incidentally she wasn't the first woman to play Dr Amanda Bentley-in the three tv movies she was played by Cynthia Gibb but then replaced her in the television series. She was divorced from her Air Force husband later in the series and took up with an FBI agent called Ron Wagner-she already had a kid called CJ. Victoria was also an ex ballerina which she put to good use when she wrote an episode of Diagnosis, Murder called "The Red's Shoes"(play on the classic 50's film 'The Red Shoes' about a ballerina). In this episode she falls for a handsome Russian dancer who wishes to defect. More about that here
