Speaking of The Sopranos, that is how I was introduced to Alla Kliouka (her birth name, and the name she has been going by; sometimes the "Schaffer" name was used off and on in her film/TV credits, but appears to have been permanently dropped in 2011, since the divorce from — as written above — Ken Shaffer); she's a very pretty lady, and even though English is not her first language, emoted solidly in the U.S. production. (She won the Academy Awards' Russian equivalent for Best Actress in 1995.)

and the second shot was taken when she was discernibly younger

Ms. Kliouka has been mentioned on Vintage Erotica Forum two times that I know of, by Member "Span4f" in both cases, and somehow he dug up nude scenes for her. This post will end by showcasing views while alla Alla's clothing came off.



As for the role that allowed for her to become known to U.S. and Western audiences, Alla played a very strong-willed and positive character despite facing long odds, as with adjusting to life in a foreign country and especially given the need to contend with the loss of a leg. One of the lead gangster character's girlfriends was a Russian immigrant, and Alla was first introduced as the girlfriend's friend. The producers must have realized Alla had something special to offer, as she kept coming back, even after the girlfriend character was written out. (Alla appeared in seven episodes, from 2000-2002.) Tony Soprano even got into Alla's pants.



Alla Kliouka was only thirty when she first appeared on the hit HBO series, and looked very lovely. She had a conflict with Tony Soprano's sister, when the latter stole Alla's character's prosthetic leg.


While Alla fell for Soprano's charms (last photo above), she put the lid on a continuing relationship.

Soon after her stint on The Sopranos ended, Alla appeared in a Russian television series (Evlampiya Romanova. Sledstvie vedet diletant) from 2003–2007, to the tune of three dozen episodes. She played a spoiled wife who had to fend for herself once her provider husband left the picture, and found that she has an intuitive talent for solving mysteries, leading to her own detective agency.

After 2008, fewer roles were coming her way. Then she landed a biggie, appearing in her next U.S. series, The Americans (about KGB spies settled in the USA; this was a fine show), for three episodes in 2017. (The rotten Soviets put the screws on Alla, but even here, her characteristic strength was a factor to deal with.)



Unfortunately, her role in The Americans turned out to be her second to last. She hasn't been onscreen in an acting role since 2019, when she was forty-nine. Now let's get to the times Alla has revealed herself, with thanks to the clips that Span4f provided. (Especially for her "nudiest" film, which is coming up; the photos Span4f put up have all gone down the drain in his Post #508, which was put up one month after his first Alla post in 2017.)



The leading characters of Noktyurn Shopena (1992), a feature film lasting barely over one hour, are "He" and "She," with Alla, perhaps inspired by Ursula Andress, portraying "She." This Adam and Eve-ish couple are seen waking up on shore, and the scene from below is evidently the only time in the film that Alla is naked, although her body has been so strategically positioned, even her butt can't be clearly seen. (I wish the Russian director did not watch so many American films, taking the U.S. example as to how nudity should be handled.)




The next film is the real prize, and was Alla's first starring role. (She had a minor part in her initial film from the prior year.) In 1990's Telo, Alla was the bride-to-be in what appears to be a fairy tale relationship, and from what I can gather, perhaps the jealous villagers ruined it all through ugly gossip. Evidently, Alla's apparent hapless and innocent character finds herself in prison as a result.



The immortal line from Revenge of the Nerds may be heard with the second photo above: "We've got bush." Not that much may be seen, but Alla went alla the way (perhaps in Russia as well, the way it works is for beginning actresses to make the "nudity concession," in exchange for the big break. Telo may have been the only time Alla so bravely exposed herself, taking a cue from Alyssa "My Poison Ivy days are over" Milano's book.)



While Alla was very attractive as she matured, she's like a different woman here, at the age of twenty. There is a real sweetness going on, as you may agree from the last two photos above. The shots below don't feature Alla, but who can resist the sight of lots of women prancing around, with everything laid out in the open.




Talking Sopranos is a podcast series hosted by two of the program's cast members. A 2021 episode, which may be accessed here, featured Alla and offered the following description:

First up it’s Alla Kliouka who played Svetlana, one of the most memorable characters of the series. She talks about what it was like to be a successful actress in the Soviet Union and how the Sopranos was her first real US gig. When she auditioned for David Chase she walked into the room as Svetlana and completely blew everybody away. She also shares how she found out she was going to have sex with Tony Soprano at the table read, and how props made that famous leg disappear.

Re-watching The Sopranos, I put up a post on the actress (for the Classic American Lesser Known Celebrities thread) who originally played Oksana Lada's role of "Irina," key Tony Soprano mistress, remarking that at least the first actress was willing to undress (that is, to the point of displaying the goods) while all of the episodes with Oksana featured nothing explicit. After going through this thread that featured a few posts with Oksana, I remarked, "...Member 'Hefestus' provided a hint for" how Oksana "went on with her career (actually having made a healthy go at it), and finally gave a better idea of her womanly assets in a 2018 blackmail-thriller movie." The link for Oksana's IMDb filmography was provided for the line in parentheses.)

I had missed the first few episodes of the gangster drama, and while catching them currently, I was surprised to see Oksana actually buckled down and showed her secrets. (Somewhat.) Ergo, the birth of this post.



Note the strategically placed lamp. Oksana breaks the sound barrier in her haste to land on the bed, so that her assets cannot be made out clearly. The lighting, naturally, does not help, either.






On this thread, Member "Lewisberryhill" provided further views of the lady in his Post #78 from 2011, and from The Sopranos, Member "Sigurdarson" offered these in 2018, and days later, he returned to put up more views in his Post #587. Although I had gone through the thread when I put up the post on the first Irina, I am now catching on that the last link represented the same scene (Sigurdarson was even kind enough to provide a movie link, which is now on the blink); the fact that the views I'm presenting had already been provided slipped my radar, because the screen grabs were too dark on my end. (Well, at least my frame grabs are different, and I tried to make the details as visible as possible.)
