Default An update to an old post in the thread - Privazer

An update to an old post in the thread as the link wasn't valid no was it a direct link to the programs website.

Privazer
https://privazer.com/en/

I would also like to recommend this software.

Have used it for many years. Cleans a lot of your system.

I use it religiously every time I use the computer,
just before switching it off, making sure it's ready for my next use.

PrivaZer is a privacy cleaner that scans your computer and provides you with a complete report of all computer and Internet traces that can be found on your PC. You can review the results in the detail and choose to securely erase them from your disk. The program performs a very thorough scan that not only includes the common traces like registry, Internet history, cookies etc., but also looks for potential traces in your free disk space sectors. PrivaZer can permanently wipe all traces using secure deletion methods and also reset you free disk sectors to zero to eliminate all traces from previous delete operations. The initial scan and cleaning process can be a little time consuming (20-30 mins), depending on the size of your disks and number of traces found. Other features include scheduled cleanings, support for removable drives and USB keys, automatic registry backups, deletion of USB history, and more.

Note: Was very useful to remove this ransomware without any traces

Default Online Image Hosts

I had been using https://imgbox.com/ to share pictures on the forum.

While this image host is still amazing to upload multiple images at the recommended resolution by forum rules, I have most recently started to use another online image host.

https://postimg.cc/

The reason is the thumbnail preview on the forum.

Using https://imgbox.com/ the thumbnail is cropped to a square,
you miss the the accurate dimensions of the image as a thumbnail preview.
Once you click on the imgbox link all is well with the correct dimensions but as a thumbnail on a forum it is cropped.

Using https://postimg.cc/ the thumbnail isn't cropped to a square, you maintain the accurate dimensions of the image as a thumbnail preview.

In my experience, found the relevant useful:

When uploading multiple pictures on the forum it's recommended to use https://imgbox.com/

When uploading less than five pictures it's recommended to use https://postimg.cc/ that will display accurate dimensions of the images as thumbnail previews for members of the forum to see.

Thanks. I will do a test the next time I use imgbox and set the option to Resized (keep aspect ratio).
Just to see if the preview thumbnail still gets cropped.

You are correct. The requirements on this forum for images is set at 200x200.

I found that out the hard way by this forum's moderator's when I submitted posts within the modern model threads. My posts got removed, was informed by a moderator why in a private message and had to upload again with the size requirements set by forum rules in the modern models section of the forum..
