It's really up to the thread creator to put "Discussion" in the thread title. I don't think the change to remove discussion from the pornstar threads, as had been the practice for years, and fork future discussion to the discussion forum was ever properly and effectively communicated to the community. I certainly didn't know about it until I stumbled upon this forum as I had continued to put discussion in the pornstar threads only to find those discussions frequently (but not always) disappear and no reason given as to why.

Ever since then, when creating a new discussion thread related to a pornstar that didn't have one yet, I have always put "Discussion" in the thread title as I saw a few threads like that already and I liked the idea so I followed along. Nobody told me to do it and there was no guidance that I could see on the subject.

So if this is to happen as a matter of official protocol, VEF probably needs to step up and proactively state that new pornstar threads should have the word "Discussion" put in them by the thread creator.

this discussion was had. it was the rule of thought that to sort content from talk was an idea whose time had come, it was better to use discussion in the title for talk threads about any otherwise jpg or video heavy subject, not just pornstars. do not see how that reduces space but that was also a reason. just my 2 cents from maybe a year or so back.

I remember this happening too but where I don't recall. But it was never placed officially in the guidelines when the section was opened up as DARPA mentioned. (All it says is every model must have a title) It was more a word of mouth type situation if memory serves.
