[Sarah Young] Likes and Dislikes

Q: What kind of music do you like?

A: I like most music – except country and opera – because I love dancing, but my favourites are Soul, R & B and Swing.

Q: What is your favourite food?

A: Anything Italian, especially pasta. Being English I also like curry – which is a typical favourite of the English – and Chinese. In fact, really, I enjoy any food especially chocolate.

Q: Do you have a favourite drink?

A: I like to drink wine with a meal, especially white wine, but not too often, although usually I only drink water or diet lemonade as I don't like any fruit juices, milk, tea – very unusual for a Brit! – or coffee, so that doesn't really leave me much choice!

Q: Do you play or like to watch any sports?

A: No I don't really like any form of sport because I'm useless at it, although I'm always willing to have a go. However I do the Hula-Hoop everyday to try and keep my waist small, and I used to work out a lot, but now I'm studying I don't really have the time anymore.

Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: I enjoy reading, going to the theatre and cinema, cooking and painting and decorating, in fact I'd really love to be an interior designer/decorator. I've also collected Swarovski crystal since I was thirteen years old, so I've got quite a large collection now.

Q: What do you look for in a man?

A: I can't stand moody or lazy people in general. I like light-hearted, intelligent, self-assured, hardworking and humorous men who thoroughly enjoy life, but who, on the other hand, are caring, considerate, sensitive and compassionate – I don't ask for much do I?

Q: What perfume do you wear?

A: My favourite perfumes are Hypnotic Poison, Maroussia and Samsara.

Q: What was your first job?

A: My first job was in a corner shop, working as a cashier whilst I was still at school. I also used to work at the weekends as a care-assistant in old people's homes.
