I must admit that I’ve not seen another Fiona Cooper film, so I don’t know if all the earlier (or later) ones are like this, and it’s not that there are really any ‘good’ or ‘bad’ bits of the film, I just (IMO) find the whole thing rather monotonous. I can watch a small part of it, but not the whole 60 minutes in one go.

As for the music; all I do about that is turn the sound down – as I said, there is no other sound to listen too, so it doesn’t make any difference.

In a note about the film, I have a production date of 1989 – but I’m not sure from where I got that date.
