A few years ago I saw a documentary about Germain Greer. She explained the pose used for this picture. The purpose was to show her fully nude, while at the same time making it impossible to make a softer version of it. They didn't want some magazine to make a crop with just her face and breasts for example.
She wanted a photo that showed her vagina and anus, but not her breasts. So that's why it turned into this somewhat unusual pose.

Yeah, thats the story I heard as well. Basically she wanted to do a naked pic that nobody could beat off to in her opinion. I dunno, but I bet that there would be some who would get off on it.

Thanks for the Germaine Suck pics. I've been looking for this photo (didn't know there were two) for a long time. First saw one of them in Celebrity Sleuth or Celebrity Skin when I was much younger. It made a lasting impression.

Any possibility of higher quality scans?

Back in the seventies (when she had some physical appeal) Germaine was an advocate of feminist free love, saying women should fuck everyone in sight as a path to sexual freedom. Then she got older and uglier and less appealing and (surprise!) became an advocate of feminist celibacy saying sex was a trap which imprisoned women and refraining from fucking was the path to sexual freedom. The moral: Ultimate truth may depend on saggy tits.
