Austrian actress. Gets famous with roles in some movies of Rainer Werner Fassbinder and was a good friend of Freddy Mercury in his last years. She died on 22nd February 2002 at the age of 61 in Munich. More infos about her:

That name rings a bell, I think Barbara was a big pal of
Freddie Mercury ..... Munich was one of his favourite places... (the gay scene ) and he often met up with Barbara.

She was actually Freddie Mercury's girlfriend in the early 80s, and they lived together in Munich. She was a total fag hag and would be there in the bed when Freddie invited gay lovers back to the pad. Apparently, he always took the passive role. They had sex only occassionaly, so she admitted. She took a big part in the bio 'Freddie Mercury: The Definitive Biography' by Leslie Ann Jones. Excellent book. She got all the interviews with the right people, including his long term boyfriend Jim Hutton just before he died.
