Bigfoot from 2012. Don't bother unless you like campy, crappy, and impossible creatures. The monster is actually well done CGI. This one is like 30-40 feet tall and pissed at the world.
Can't happen that such a huge creature would remain unknown until they decide to make a movie. For those who care there are a couple of cute women's. |

Wild Tales
One of the best I've watched ever. Brilliantly produced Argentinian film. 6 hilarious stories. The pacing was excellent and the acting was superb. It was reported the film received a 10 minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival. I can believe it. We couldn't stop talking about it all night!
To quote a reviewer : " Inequality, injustice and the demands of the world we live in cause stress and depression for many people. Some of them, however, explode. This is a movie about those people. Vulnerable in the face of a reality that shifts and suddenly turns unpredictable.." Last edited by turat; July 9th, 2015 at 01:47 AM.. |

What movie are you viewing at the moment?
This
Has it`s charms But I`m at the one hour thirteen minute mark and wondering what the writers were thinking. Plus the director and editors Unless the , Addled their brain-um Oh well for all I know the last forty odd minutes are brilliant Provided the luscious lead spends those minutes on screen buck (I said ) naked In which case may I now change my review to = Hubba de doo`be hubba |

Nightcrawler (2014)
Good movie and a brilliant performance by Jake Gyllenhaal. But the ending was a bit strange. Last edited by Brecht; December 14th, 2016 at 06:19 AM.. |

The Bridges of Madison County (1995)
I was in school when this movie was aired on TV for the first time and I thought it was beautiful but was ashamed to tell anyone. My friends thought my favorite movie is Bloodsport. That was a lie. Yes, this is a beautiful movie indeed and I'm not ashamed to admit it anymore! Last edited by Brecht; December 14th, 2016 at 06:20 AM.. |

Becoming mod on VEF has its benefits, one of them being rejuvenation. I'm 30 but look like 29! Amazing, isn't it?
I stumbled upon a Ken Loach DVD collection yesterday which includes 3 of his classics: Riff-Raff, Raining Stones and Ladybird, Ladybird. I've started with the first one. Riff-Raff (1991) |

Terminator Genisys
Terminator Genisys wasnt a complete misfire for me,it offers solid SFX,action sequences ,some cool nods to previous Terminator films and the man himself Arnold Schwarzenegger. Jai Courtney is serviceable in his role as Kyle Reese and Emilia Clarke was more likeable in her role as Sarah Connor When the film enters its second hour i started to pick it apart in my mind questioning the actions of the characters and their placement at key points in the film. Most of it didnt add up leading to jumbled outcomes. Even the mid credits scene didnt mean much to me I found it better than the last 2 Terminator films though Scale of 1-10 a 7 |
