Resolution Help / Advice
I'm about to join one of those Damn 2cd films, Res : 352 X 288 . I have always just set the new res to exactly what the original was. Is this the right way or should I be setting it to something else. The program re-encodes the whole thing anyways.
Any advice greatly appreciated

You could try a resize with the join and see how it comes out. If it comes out wrong, do it the old way. |

I too would leave the resolution as it is. But why reencode? If the source is a VCD that means the encoding is MPEG1, and that can easily be joined without reencoding. You may have to convert .dat into .mpeg, but that is done without reencoding.
