Interesting thread. I collect 8mm and have admired the model I've known as Yvonne Daye in my collecting circles. In addition to what has already been posted, I would add that she appears in:

Pretty Girls #98
Swedish Erotica #417
Viva #26

To my eye, the iafd picture of DIana Rogers, though not flattering, is a definite match with Yvonne (very much as she appears in SE417). While there is a close resemblance in the Dana Dennis picture, none of my Yvonne loops have her looking like that, and the nose seems distinctly finer than Yvonne's distinctively pugnacious but cute schnozz. What is the source of the face picture for 'Dana' currently on iafd? Is it possible that that picture isn't actually her, leading to some of the confusion?

I was unsuccessful at convincing IAFD about this however, I am 100% sure it is Yvonne. Why? The eyes. I know of no other woman with those tired / lazy eyes. Her left eye is particularly so.

Perhaps then I might convince you by this picture. Study it carefully. First picture is Iafd's all the others are known Yvonne Daye (Dana Dennis) images. The eyes give it away. The only thing I think is throwing people (and Iafd) off is perhaps what I believe is just a young picture of Yvonne.

Also I do think that the picture of Dana Dennis on iafd is not particularly representative of her. That hairstyle is not her common look but eyes again say it's still her. In fact not one of her listed filmography titles does she appear as in the picture supplied to iafd. However, it's just another reason why iafd probably resisted my claim. I am trying once more though. :-)

I remain convinced . Excuse the messy montage but hopefully enough there to help you decide one way or another.



EDIT: sorry I did read your post wrongly and see that you are in agreement with the Dana Dennis picture being uncharacteristic. It is yes.

Note the small mole on her right breast in all pictures. There is no question that Dana Dennis and Diana Rogers and Yvonne Daye are the same person.

I don't manage to find a Golden Girls 282, but what is sure it's that this loop is Golden Girls 014 with Leslie Winston and Unm (and it isn't Tim Dennis).

Excellent! thanks for adding these. I've had a reply from IAFD and they still aren't prepared to change it but I now know what their primary objection is so for anyone that can help with the question they have posed :

OK now I can see this tatoo on GG282 quite clearly, however, I don't remember seeing it but to my mind there are a lot of features that define Yvonne, Dana, Diana and I might wonder if the tatoo disappeared but it won't convince me to to see different eyes mouth nose hands breasts etc.

There are a couple of explanations I can think of to explain the absence of a tatoo - maybe 3 actually:

1) It was removed - it can be done by skin grafting.

2) It could be masked by make up.

3) The original tatoo might not have been a real on in the first place.

I've asked IAFD to provide and example of which image . footage they are referring to in 1983. Dana should still be instantly recognisable but it is just possible that they are actually thinking of someone else.

It would be nice to clear this up and if all that is holding IAFD up is a tatoo then I'm sure there's some explanation if indeed they are talking about the same person that we know as Yvonne Daye, Dana Dennis and Diana Rogers.

Sorry Ventoux I for one would have to disagree with you there. Leslie Winston looks quite different. This is Yvonne through and through and she's even got that tatoo she had in the early days. Leslie as far as I remember has much larger breasts and if you check and agree on the picture held at IAFD you have to come to the same conclusion.

It's hard to see how one can mistake Dana for Leslie - there's not one common feature, to me anyway. :-)
