Section Rules/Report Thread (disputed ID's, dead pics, links, etc.)

Welcome to the Classic Pornstar section.

So what to post in this section?

• Pictures and clips of pornstars that started in 1995 or before
• The content section is for content only. Content = pics / clips / relevant biographical information. Please post if you can add content and/or improve quality. Posts not adding content relevant to that pornstar will be edited, moved or removed
• Posts with movie clips must have screencaps or preview images from your clip (unaltered)
  and must include:
  - file size
  - run time (duration)
  - resolution in pixels (screen size)
• Screen grabs without movie clip links need to have 90% of the images to be able to identify the model of that thread (May 11th 2021)
• Members are allowed 5 posts with video links per day, and each post may contain 2 video links (re-ups & mirrors are not counted)
• Report broken links, errors, posts in wrong section, etc. here in this thread.
• If you think a model is wrongly identified, always give your reasons and/or tell us who you think she is. Make your report in this thread and not in the model's thread
• Members who have received more than 150 thanks must post ID requests in MIR here
• Members who received less than 150 thanks and do not qualify to post in the Model ID requests section (MIR), may post ID requests in our request sub forum here
  
• New image rule starting August 3, 2024:
  Fakes and over enhanced images done with AI or other photo software are not allowed in the main model threads. Post fakes in the Fakes sticky thread, or in the Modern Forum AI Erotica section. Cleaned, repaired, mild enhancements and multi page merges are still okay in model threads.
  
• New Video clip rule starting February 11, 2025:
  Fakes, over enhanced videos, converted, and fabricated videos done with AI or other photo software are not allowed in the main model threads. Post these videos in the Fake, over enhanced and converted videos sticky thread, or in the Modern Forum AI Erotica section. Modestly cleaned, repaired and mildly enhanced videos are still okay in model threads.
  
• Banned Image Hosts:
  -Imagetwist
  -Turboimage
  -SOAPE (Feb.11th 2021)
• Do not post hidden or masked links to outside VEF.
• Do not post any Traci Lords material.
• Do not post music videos.
• Forum Rules do not allow flooding. This means that posters may not make more than 9 posts in one thread in one day, and 20 posts combined in one day (June 5th 2021)
• With effect from 3.30.2020, posters who offer pics on an external host must also provide thumbnails for the images in their posts
• Don't forget to the posters - without them there would be no posts and no VEF

Rules concerning posts with video clips (added 6.13.2018)

Classic Pornstars has adopted a preferred host system. This means that any clip can be re-posted by anyone using the following hosts, if the original clip is not on one of these hosts

• - mega.nz
• - mediafire

New rule concerning image host and arrest records
Police ID Photos (mugshots) and arrest records are not allowed in models' threads

Information in red means our rules may differ from similar rules in other sections.
Otherwise All VEF Forum Rules apply.

If you mean Traci Lords, she is on our Do Not Post list.

Images of her, and films/clips including her, are banned from being posted on VEF.

I have a question regarding requests.

If a particular scene link is dead, how do I make a request for a reupload?

Normally, I would think that one would make the request in the thread in question, so that earlier readers who had the chance to download the scene could be asked to create a new working link.

Content threads are designed for content. I know it would seem sensible to ask for re-ups in each particular models thread but the problem with that is that those threads become clogged and overwhelmed with re-up requests.That is why we prefer a few methods of dealing with re-up requests.

You can report the post as having dead links. Every reported post will be dealt with by a Mod. That might mean we edit the post to show the OP that the links are down. It may mean we PM the OP and ask for a re-up. It depends on each individual case. You can also use this thread here to point out dead links for Mods to act on.

You can also try PMing the original poster to see if they will re-up. Many good posters have sigs that say that. "PM me if any links are down" is what they might say. Try asking the OP but don't be a stalker and ask for it more than once. If the OP doesn't respond, take a deep breath and move on. They may not visit VEF anymore, they may not have the vid anymore or they may just not feel like uploading it again. That is their decision.

Include a link to the post w/ the dead links and maybe someone will recognize it and re-up in the models thread.

Posting re-up requests in Model threads will usually get binned. That is how our members prefer it and that is what the rules say. So please to all re-up requesters.......read above.

And always remember this................active and thankful members will get better results than non-participating members. Don't just be an asker, be a thanker at the least and a poster if you can.

Hey there Mods..

Just a couple of curiosity questions..

I have been using the Report Post button (lower left in each post) to report bad download links instead of posting them here..

Q1 - Which method is preferred? (Report button vs Post in this thread)

Q2 - When the Report Post button is used, I am assuming that you see a link to the actual POST itself, correct? (if not, should I place the POST # in there also?)

I am trying to be as helpful as I can, so I thought I would ask..
