Eve Arden
Born Eunice Quedens she was an American actress who started out on the stage before moving into films and being a prominent voice on US Armed Forces radio during the Second World War. She is best remembered for her role on radio in Our Miss Brooks. She returned to stage work for the most part in the sixties. The movie is the "Last of the Duanes" a 1941 western based on the Zane Grey story starring George Montgomery as Buck Duane. Thats George next to her in the still. Eve is third billed as "Kate' a saloon entertainer who befriends Buck in his quest to solve the murder of his father, rancher Tom Duane.
