André de Dienes (born 1913 in Turia, Transylvania {now Romania}, died 1985) was a professional photographer known for an impressive body of work that included nude photography, celebrity portraiture and pictures of the American Southwest.

Andre de Dienes was 32 when he met Norma Jeane, in November 1945, through the Blue Book Modeling Agency. From that time there were many photo sessions. In 1949 she posed for him again in New York for the promotion of "Love Happy." The sessions took place at Tobey Beach. These may be regarded among the most beautiful photographs that were made by Marilyn.
