Six that I know about, in five videos:

Bet Black -- which might be her second hetero on-camera sex scene, if a magazine interview claiming to be with her can be trusted in which she says her first g/g scene was with Nina DaPonca (or DePonca), and she also has a g/g with Nina DaPonca in this same video.

Weekend Blues -- Don Fernando is servicing a blonde I don't recognize [IAFD identifies her as Marilyn Rose] in the same scene, cutting Carol's on-camera time in half or less, unfortunately.

She's America's Most Wanted -- Once again, Don Fernando is hogging camera time in the same scene, this time with Arcie Miller. Interestingly, the other three people in the room have all had sex scenes with Carol in other videos. Arcie Miller, one of the few women who had more than one scene with Carol, had two that I know about. To make things more confusing than necessary, Carol was in another, similarly-titled video, America's Most Wanted Girl, where she had a scene with Sharon Kane and another with Robert Bullock.

Six Nine Love -- Here's Don Fernando again. He and Carol start off with a twosome, then Ray Victory arrives and they double-team the lady for a time, then Victory finishes up after Fernando either passes out or drops dead (the video is ambiguous as to which happens . . . it's a strange video) from a drugged drink which his girl friend (not Carol) gave him earlier.

Public Enemy -- Carol, who's in her blonde aspect this time, has two separate scenes with Ray Victory, and a third with Buck Adams, who is himself blond this time. Unfortunately, both her scenes with Victory are repeatedly interrupted by cutaways to another couple having sex, a practice I intensely dislike, but that's why God made fast-forward buttons.

I wish that Carol had been paired more times with Ray Victory (preferably with Don Fernando several thousand miles away during shooting). I'll also wish she had teamed with Buck Adams and Rick Savage many more times, too. Savage's only sex scene with her (in Spellbound) definitely is on my list of top ten CC scenes. More Victory, Adams and Savage -- and less of the merely adequate Mark Wallace and the lacklustre Don Fernando. More John Dough and Randy West would also have been preferable to Wallace and Fernando.

On the other hand, if she were only videosexually active for eight months, I ought to be grateful that she did as many videos and magazine spreads as she did . . .

That's not a video I've seen, but according to IAFD.com, Harry Reems is in it, but Carol isn't. Also, it's from 1985, four years before Carol's entry into the business. Could you be mixing Brittany Stryker up with Carol? She doesn't look a lot like Carol to me, but she looks more like her than the other two women in that video.

Here's a curiosity: Carol Cummings appeared on the front and back covers of a reissue of Exploring Young Girls, a video in which she didn't appear -- which isn't surprising, since it was a 1977 video (according to IAFD), released over a decade before the lady began appearing in adult videos. You may be able to make out the warning at the bottom of the back cover, "cover model not necessary in film." I'm sure they meant "necessarily." And I love the subtle expression on her face in the back cover pic.



The first pic in the row is the front cover and right spine of the sleeve, the second pic is the back cover, and the third nd fourth are tight scans (in different sizes) of the small pic on the spines. It seems to be the same pic as on the back cover, but shows a bit more of the lady, which is never a bad idea.

As you probably know, after her brief career as a porn star, she appeared in several low-budget movies under the name Kimberly Spies, though the name kept mutating, or maybe just being misspelled: Spies, Spiess, Speiss. And in one movie, The Bikini Car Wash Company, she's in the credits as Kimberly Bee according to IMDB.com. (I have a DVD of the movie, but the resolution is pathetic, and I can barely make out "Kimberly" on my 32 inch TV screen, so I can't confirm that her last name here is "Bee.")

The shots of her in the red jacket and in the slip are from Psycho Cop Returns (also released as Psycho Cop 2), the shots of her in the black and gray outfits are from Night of the Wilding. These are not vidcaps, at least not by me; I found them online.

Incidentally, she was also billed as "Kim Spies" in the opening credits of one porn video, Debbie Does 'Em All, Part 3, but she was billed as Carol Cummings on the box.

Like the blonde dominatrix pix of the lady usually known as Carol Cummings (in post #71), these pix of a more languid Carol, with her blond hair up, come from a CD-R which a nice guy selling on eBay (whose name I have churlishly forgotten) included as a bonus when I bought a number of pornish items from him. I don't know which magazine they were taken from, and if anyone can tell me their source, I will be most grateful.

I have a pocket-sized Eruomag which has Carol on the cover in a photo that looks to be from the same photo shoot, though she is only on the cover, alas. I would scan it and include it with the photos from the CD, but first I'll have to figure out where I've stashed it.

Over on the Classic & Vintage Magazines thread, SVGA has posted another picture that seems to be from the same photo shoot, though that one identifies Carol/Raquel as Ronda. (A few more RRRs, and she can play a pirate.)

P.S. A few months have passed, and I now have a copy of the magazine in which Carol appeared as "Raquel." It was the May 1989 issue of Swank International. I've done my own scans of the pics of Carol -- while I greatly appreciate the kindness of the eBayer who sent me the disk, I prefer to scan each pic separately. Also, in cases where a full-page or two-page pic has smaller inset photos, I've scanned the inset photos separately and also whitened out the spaces where the inset photos would otherwise have appeared. I've kept one of the pics from the disk, because it has the centerfold as one pic (fifth row, third pic), while I've scanned it as two separate pics (fifth row, first and second pics). The single pic has the disadvantage of losing material on the sides, but this way, you have a choice of how to look at it.

In addition, a couple of months ago I acquired a CD-R of Carol Cummings material from a guy on eBay, and it has a few more pics which are obviously from the same photo session as the Raquel set, though in that version Carol seems to be going by the name "Eve." Finally, in the second row, second and third pics, I've borrowed a double-page pic which SVGA posted in the Moewig Magazines thread (post #173, and many thanks, SVGA, and I hope you won't mind my borrowing). I've combined all the pics into a sequence that I think makes sense. I've also flipped some of the photos to keep the layout of the room (or set) consistent. For example, I flipped the last pic in the fifth row, which came from Swank International's table of contents page, which is why the page number in the photo is mirror-reversed.

Incidentally, the set in which this photo shoot took place looks like the same set in which Carol (again, in her blonde aspect) posed with Peter North in a hardcore photo shoot. (See post #122.) I wonder if both photo sessions took place on the same day.

I also wonder what the story is supposed to be with this photoshoot. Carol (Raquel, Eve, Ronda . . .) seems to have been dressed to the nines, with a fancy purse to match her shoes, but now she's undressing, sipping champagne (judging from the bottle, though I don't see any bubbles in the glass), and engaging in a solitary activity. Did she have a date who stood her up? (The mind boggles at the thought!) Has she returned home from an unsatisfactory date and now is consoling herself? But, probably, I'm reading too much into a photo shoot whose main object was to display the charms of a beautiful lady. Regarding that: mission accomplished!

Wow, I hadn't noticed that all those shoots were from the same session, duh! (That's judging from the background and from what she's almost wearing.) Here's Hollywood Confidential card #26, front and back, which seems to be from the same shoot.



The date given for Carol's birth on the card is different from (and three years and change earlier than) the date usually given -- August 26, 1965. Also, her measurements are different from (and more doubtful than) the 35D-22-34 that IAFD gives. To further muddy the metaphorical waters, the June 1989 Adam Film World Guide Annual gave her birth date as January 7, 1965 and measurements as 35-21-33. Continuing in this confused vein (while mixing metaphors), her Hot Shots collector’s card (card #195) claims she was born in 1968. So who’s on first? . . .

And here's the pic of Carol which I'm using as an avatar (Note: see P.S. below), and which, as you noted, also appears to be from the same shoot. I grabbed it online, so I don't know where it originally appeared, though it's possible that my like-unto-Swiss-cheese memory will suddenly kick in and remind me where it originally appeared, and I'll again say, "Duh!"

My avatar version of the photo, undarkened and without type, may have come from Excalibur's Carol Cummings page, back when they had a photo gallery of pics of the lady, and before they adopted a dog-in-the-manger attitude and fixed the gallery so that the photos could not be downloaded, and did the same for the pics of box covers they displayed, the swine!)

P.S. Since this posting, I've started using a different photo of the lady as my avatar. The current one is from the photo of Carol on the box cover of the original issue of Tequila Sunset, cropped to a headshot.

Let's take Jealous Lovers first. I sent you a private message a couple of days ago, but maybe I've done something wrong again and only thought I sent it, since you obviously haven't received it. Here's what I wrote about Jealous Lovers (with a few snips and additions):

I noticed your post about Jealous Lovers, and I'm afraid I don't have good news about Carol's truncated bathroom scene. I've noticed the same thing, and I've gotten (I think) four (maybe five) different copies of the video, and all of them break off at the same place. Maybe Mark Wallace needed to put another quarter in his X-ray binoculars at that point and he didn't have any pocket change.

I also have a compilation video called Big Melons 32 which has the scene in it, and it breaks off at the same point. At least Carol is nude in the shower for a time, and the video should get a couple of points for that.

There is a slight consolation prize: one of my copies of Jealous Lovers does have a (very) slightly longer version of Carol's *second* scene (the lesbian one). I haven't timed it, but it has maybe a minute, at most, of extra footage at the beginning of the scene.

I also have the magazine version of the video which has a continuation of the scene (I think you're the one who posted the pix from the magazine), but I have to say that I'm suspicious. I'm not sure that Fernando is actually penetrating Carol in the photos where he seems to be hitting a home run. But maybe I'm too suspicious after the times I've watched videos with Angela Baron in which her sex scenes are obviously faked. (Reportedly done at the insistence of her new husband, Perry Ross, who owned the video company, and didn't want to share pussy privileges.)

That may have had a corrupting influence even with Carol's videos . . . two of her scenes look faked to me: with Tom Bryon in Handle With Care and with Mark Wallace in Cat Scratch Fever.

I tried to watch the frustrating scene in question from your posting, and I could hear the soundtrack, but there was no picture; just abstract images moving over the screen. I don't know if I need a different program on the computer, or what. But I didn't need to see the picture, since I knew what you were complaining about. Pity that I don't have better news.

One thing to note about the scene is that Carol is wet from the shower until Don Fernando walks into the room (apparently, in both porn videos and TV sitcoms, nobody ever locks either their front door or their bathroom door). then, suddenly, she's completely dry as she pulls back the shower curtain and starts hitting on Fernando. To save time and trouble, they probably shot the sex scene first, if there actually was a sex scene, then shot her in the shower with the water running. The same was done with her shower scene in Spellbound.

As for doing the pix I've posted bigger and better, some of the pix I posted are ones I found online (the pictures of Carol appearing as Kimberly S.) or, in the case of Carol as dominatrix, or Carol as "Raquel" came from a CD-R, and I don't know of any way to make them bigger, and I doubt there exists a way to give them a higher resolution. But them, as I've already said, I'm computer sub-literate.

On the other hand, maybe you were referring to the Carol-as-dominatrix pix I posted, which were stuck in small size because I'd made the mistake (duh!) of copying the thumbnails instead of clicking on the thumbnails, then copying the larger versions. I've fixed that one, and now they can be enlarged.

I plan to do more posting, but first I'll have to have time to dig out a stack of magazines where I've stashed them.

I'd have to look at the video again to be sure (IAFD is little help here), but I think it was Paulina Down, also known as Bridgette Monroe. That scene sure isn't one of my favorites, since Carol departed just as the serious action was about to begin, and a far less attractive blonde took her place.

The camerawork, or at least the editing, was also bloody incompetent. The camera is focussed on Dough's face, and stays on his face as Carol arrives and starts talking to him, so that we don't see her arrive and we have no idea who he's talking to for several seconds.

The scene was shot on a set that looked like a very small porch, and the street number can be seen to be 6969, har, har. That set was used in several other Leisure videos. Carol had another scene on it with Chris Dough in She's America's Most Wanted. That time, at least, the tryst was successfully consumated, though the non-sex part of Chris Dough's performance bordered on the catatonic. I dimly recall at least one more scene on that set, where Ron Jeremy was trying to put the make on some babe -- maybe Arcie Miller -- when her guy (Tony Montana) arrived and went John Wayne on the Hedgehog, knocking him off the porch with a manly punch, followed by a sex scene with the damsel formerly in distress. Only the brave deserve the fair . . . or whatever. . . .

Later: Actually, the scene was in the Carol Cummings video, Between a Rock and a Hot Place, and Ron Jeremy was getting lucky with (again) Paulina Down when action hero Montana arrived. For some reason, Montana is billed as "Jojo." Between a Rock and a Hot Place later had a reissue with a Wendy Whoppers scene added, and to make room for it, a scene with Arcie Miller and some guy was deleted, and the beginning of Montana and Down's scene was cut, completely eliminating Jeremy's comeuppance.

Here's a lesbian sequence in one of those very expensive magazines which are all photos with no ads at all. I've scanned all 32 pages (the first page is the front cover, and the last page is the back cover) and I'm going to post the full-page scans in three sections, and follow those with separate scans of photos taking up less than a full page. There's no copyright date, or even a "c" in a circle that I noticed, though the publisher is apparently Royce/Magcorp. If this magazine spread also exists as a video (which I doubt), it's in one of Carol's videos which I don't have. There are 32 pages of photos altogether, including the front and back outer and inside covers, and here are the first eleven.
