7 screen caps of Madonna from Vision Quest (1985).

I'm also trying something new. You'll see two versions of the caps. First are the standard def caps in their original resolutions. Then there are also a set of enlarged versions. I'd really like to hear people's opinions on those. Is the increase in resolution worth the reduction in quality? Which do you prefer?

The auction house Christie's has a photograph of Madonna from 1979 that they estimate will bring $10-15 thousand at auction on Feb. 12, 2009. Here is the photo that's up for auction:

I highly advise checking this out. The picture is actually a Flash file that can be zoomed to life size using the toolbar that appears in the window and zoomed to more than life size using the Flash commands by right clicking on the picture. I don't know of any way to save the zoomed picture as what you see on the screen at any one time is just a portion of the Flash file. As you scroll to a different portion of the picture, it first starts blurred and then sharpens to absolute clarity. As I say, check this out as the file will probably be pulled from the Christie's website after the auction. If anybody knows how to save the enlarged file, please do so and post for all of us to enjoy.
