hovhaness,

Not exactly sure what you're saying here but can't you do the same thing by just holding down the Control key (in Windows) and then using you're mouse wheel to zoom in or out? Don't have to add a thing.

Yes this works as well
However I think that once your session is over it reverts, whereas with Nosquint you can set it to stay this way permanently..
Ctrl+4 clicks up on the scroll wheel is pretty simple though so this is also a great option if you don't want to add any extensions.

My impression is that things work the other way round: Firefox remembers your zoom level on a site-by-site basis. For example, I keep VEF zoomed in a few steps to get rid of the wasted margin space.

This makes the text and images easier to see, but at the cost of getting less vertically on the screen - my personal preference. What Firefox doesn't provide is a way of setting a zoom level on all sites at once, including those you have yet to visit - for this, you need extensions like NoSquint.

Thats the way it works for me. Whenever I go back to a page I've used Ctrl + mouse wheel its the same size as before. Otherwise, a page is the default pixel size.

I would get rid of the Nosquint but I just have become so used to the ability to change just the text size on most sites & leave the page size as is.
CBS Sports is one example where the graphics are very nice but the text too small

I said this earlier about the extension ImageGrabber:

I'm not now sure that this is true, or perhaps not always true. But you can always save that kind of image using the extension Save Images; it's highly customisable, and I find that it, along with Linky and ImageHost Grabber, will cope with just about every image-saving requirement.
