Default Questions - Report Post button vs Post in Report Error Thread
Hey there Mods..

Just a couple of curiosity questions..

I have been using the Report Post button (lower left in each post) to report bad download links instead of posting them here..

Q1 - Which method is preferred? (Report button vs Post in this thread)

Q2 - When the Report Post button is used, I am assuming that you see a link to the actual POST itself, correct? (if not, should I place the POST # in there also?)

I am trying to be as helpful as I can, so I thought I would ask..

I think we would all prefer that you do a "reported post". Like you said, it links us directly to the post in question and makes it a bit easier for us. So to answer your questions:

A: Reported post is the prefered method of alerting us to problem posts. You can still use this thread here but the reported post is the best way.

B: No need to include a link in a reported post but in this thread we do need to have a link to the problem post.


Like I said, great question and if you or other members have any more, this is the spot to do it.

I'm hoping this is the right place for this, i posted in a thread and it was deleted without warning or being told where to post.

I haven't used Filefactory for a while, i clicked on a link and there was a an arse background with this message

Is this normal? did they change something?
