The re-boots/cast changes in Bond always go 'back to basics' - three films in, Craig will be driving invisible cars in space again, and then the casting call goes out...

I am a huge fan of Craig himself, and I think he gave a superb performance in Royale, but I also think he was wrong for the role. The short hair makes him look like a thug (check out The Invasion to see him looking a bit more intelligent) and for ruggedness he makes Connery look like Clary. I'd actually like to see him abandon the part before it affects his 'regular' career too badly.

yes, Cary Grant, at his peak, could have carried off the
James Bond role to perfection.

I got to see Ms Wood last year at a movie convention. She was a real delightful person, and had some interesting stories about making "Diamonds".

If you read the books, you'll see that Fleming's original take on him was that yes, he was a thug. The movies turned him around.

And I'm with you Greenman- to me, the original Casino Royale& Never Say Never Again are separate categories from the EON productions. I may be a snob, but I like to group items appropriately.

If I knew who to write to I would have asked for my money back, sorry to go on but I am a Bond fan.
So am i a fan but i loved it.

You missed the point, the music was perfectly done, perfect. He wasnt the Bond we knew, he had to experience the full horro of what it meant to become a 00. The music at the end signified one thing: his rite of passage was over, Bond, is back.

Anyway we are drifting here: my fave is Caroline Munro, 1 because she is so sexy, and two the helo chase is my all time fave Bond scene.

wow, amazing post flea, of the amazing Caroline Cossey
(Tula is such a stupid name )

Just thinking that Amanda Lear would have made a great Bond girl
(and there were rumours about her too.)

She would have been great opposite Roger Moore, perhaps
playing a 60s dolly bird... on the club scene, but all the time shes a Russian agent
She lures James into her flat for drinks. Hes just about to get his oats when these Russian guys grab him,
tie him up and crate him onto a plane to Moscow

He wakes up in a penthouse flat.....the prisoner
of Amanda and her Russian Hoods.

Eh, I may be prejudiced, but the fact that Tula was originally a man turns me off.

Caroline "Tula" Cossey (born August 31, 1954, in Brooke, Norfolk), is an English model. Born Barry Kenneth Cossey, she is one of the world's most well known transsexual people and the first to ever pose for Playboy. Since being "outed" by British tabloid News of the World, Cossey has fought for her right to legally marry a man and to be recognized by the law as a woman.

Second set, picture #20- this girl is Robbin Young. She won a contest in Playboy to have a bit part in the movie For Your Eyes Only. She played the salesgirl in the flower shop. I thought that was the end of it, but apparently not! Some more photos of her here on IMDB:

To what does ALL this refer to exactly? DId you forget to post these pics?

As to Tula(Caroline Cossey) being born a man-so what! She looks all woman to me, the only thing is she will always be a man on her passport because the Government refuse to recognise that fact-shame really, she wrote a book and had a good career-I think she is a brave woman-and as a woman she is gorgeous. Now had she/he become a hermaphrodite (part woman, part man) then I think my view might change and thats not a prejudicial view btw.

No, they were referring to the multiple photos where you asked who was who. I didn't see an answer forthcoming, so I did what I could to list the ones I know.

Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on Tula!
