I was merely trying to highlight the fact that this guy, who was just six days ago trying to find a way around the '150' rule has, despite the help and advice given, done nothing to help himself. His motivation was to get Model ID access, yet he has made absolutely no effort to progress towards his goal.

I appreciate that not everyone can be here every day and that not all have new material to post. In my case it took weeks rather than days to achieve the magic '150'.

It just seemed to me that having called his bluff about this 'alleged' rare movie, it would appear that his absence since it was made clear the rule would not be lifted just for him is confirmation that he didn't really want to put in the effort, and only wanted to get his Model ID without having to wait. Or share.

I doubt he will return, but I am happy to be proved wrong.

I don't think it's fair to single out individual members.
Everyone is entitled to come and go and post as much or as little as they want. This particular member hasn't been here since 7/23/2012, he could be on holiday.
We will just have to wait and see. The rules are fine the way they are and will not be changed so if he or anyone else wants an I.D they will have to follow them. I did.

Well I dunno if this newbies opinion is important, but personally I think the 150-thx rule is most reasonable.
I gotta admit I joined VEF because I considered it the best way to see a certain photo shoot again, one I simply can`t forget...

And to get something, you have to give something back right?
The way I see it, it`s simply fair game.
I wanna see something, that means another member may have to go through his paper magazines and scan 4-5 pages, maybe the entire magazine.
I think it`s fair to pay back to the board before you actually ask someone to do something for you, but that`s my opinion.
I respect that other people think different, even if I don`t agree.

Anyway, how hard can it be?
I joined 4 days ago, and even with a slow upload speed I`m almost there...
