In a few days time I will be doing a thread clean up. Deleting some old posts, moving some to the mystery box etc.

In the meantime if anyone feels like it, it would be great to try and clear up some of the oldest requests starting from page 166.

I have just finished cleaning up the Model I.D threads. There was a huge backlog of posts but all the unsolved requests older than nine months have either been moved to the mystery box or trash.

All solved requests older than four weeks have been sorted and the decent posts have been moved to the model threads, the rest were binned.

I will now be doing regular clean ups at the beginning of every month and announcing any movements of posts in the usual threads.

I now want to practice my I.Ding skills. I would also like to mention can we please try and add some evidence when making an I.D? A link to the models thread or on one of the approved sites.
Not only does it make it easier for me to double check the name but it also makes it easier for the requester to check the threads and decide whether or not to post their pictures.

Also I have made the Mystery Box a sticky thread to make it more accessible and I hope more people will view it and solve some of the posts.

I have noticed recently that several members have been requesting an I.D with 1 small picture and then once a positive I.D have been made disappearing.
Now obviously it's not compulsory to post the pictures to the models thread but as VEF is a sharing site it would be nice.

If members don't have the time to post them in the model threads then it wouldn't matter if they posted the entire gallery in the I.D request thread. I can move it across when I do the monthly clean up.

Also there appears to be a current trend of posting an I.D request with just a link to an image.
This of course makes extra work for the members trying to solve the request. They have to find the picture before attempting to solve it.
So can we please post an image whenever possible.
