Lilli Palmer , born Lillie Marie Peiser , (24 May 1914 – 27 January 1986) was a German actress.
She won the Volpi Cup, Deutscher Filmpreis 3 times, nominated twice for Golden Globe Award.

A beautiful actress. I never saw any film with her in where she gave anythig but a top notch performance. Her presence just lit up the screen. As a german jew she and her family were forced to leave Germany. She and her mother first settled in France before moving to England where she met and married Rex Harrison.
