Commentaries on the best of Janus

Vintage Erotica has, in the OS forum the most epic collection of Janus material. It can be found under British Spanking. I was wondering if there was a market for those who would like to tell others which issue, which girl, which photo, was their favourite and why. My idea is that people post a very limited number of images - leaving the enthusiast to find the rest of the set or the magazine elsewhere - and we concentrate on explaining why we like what we like. I think it could be interesting.
In case it does work, I think we should ensure that all posts have the Janus name and magazine number in the title so that people may later search for all commentaries on Janus 20 for example and read all they want about Antonia's power over the posters!

Jackie appeared in Janus 37 and I liked what I saw and what she said in the interview. Then she appeared in this issue and one photo caught my attention.
The shot on the left is fabulous. Jackie's posture is great; her legs are straight and slightly angled towards the strap. This suggests she is both ready and willing. I love the curve of her thighs and her bottom and the delicate tiny gathering of knickers just above her heels. There is a suggestion of good sized breasts pushing her blouse forward and her arms seem braced for the strapping she is getting.
Finally her face shows us that the photographer has caught the moment when she feels the stroke and is moving in shock.
Her face says that it hurts, but her body says do it again. A classic.

Context helps make photos more erotic and here the story helps enormously. Nichola, having had some experience in being spanked, is seeking to push her limits. In the first picture she seems to be wondering whether she has made a big mistake - meanwhile we get to admire her delicious thighs and choice of underwear. The she is hand spanked and clearly her face shows that she is loving it. Next she is once again uncertain as the pillows are placed for a caning. Her hand goes to her mouth and our eyes go to her sexy underwear once more. Finally the caning is happening, and it is harder than she can cope with; which is exactly what she wanted all along. It's hard to imagine that a model who here is returning for a third issue, is not also similarly conflicted regarding CP.

Although there are accepted 'classic' issues and models; beyond this, I reckon that ones favourites depend on when one dicovered Janus. I started around Janus 12 and so this image, which is clearly an impact shot, was thrilling to me. It is clearly more of a punishment and more sadistic than was usual. In fact there were to be few shots like this in all of Janus. In other shots of the same girl it seemed that this was not the only shot on her thighs. Let's be clear, despite whatever instrument you personally favour, a serious CP session has to feature a caning.
