I never thought Warren Beatty had it in him to do such an all around epic movie like this, not just acting in it but also directing and co-writing. And the it was filmed in so many different locations across the US and Europe. He must of been exhausted when it was finished.

Just last eve watched (with MrsOtis) one I'd almost forgotten - Mona Lisa with Bob Hoskins.
And that suggests a thread, if such doesn't already exist; we're all too eager to say who are are the worst/least favourite, but, has anyone ever asked, "whose name makes a film a Must See?". Off the top of my head, (and in spite of the similarities of their names) I'd say, without question, Hoskins and Anthony Hopkins. They are as close to infallible as I can say. I defy anyone here to name a script, or a performance that wasn't stellar. Oh, and maybe Dame Maggie Smith. I say all this knowing that it is not - strictly - On Topic. I ask the members and the Mods forbearance. If you'd like to see a separate thread, "What name on the bill makes the film a Must See?", maybe thank this post.
