Christmas 1989, that asshole standing on a balcony, clinging to power only he knew he's had it From memory he was only hours from death and continued his pathetic stance in front of thousands and thousands of Romanians ...... Same thing happens on this thread, preaching horseshit.

I defend as much violence and oppression as Bruce Springsteen, Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan or Woody Guthrie.

Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie were anarcho-marxists and Bruce Springsteen admired them.

Here is a sentence of Springsteen about the American Communist singer Pete Seeger: ""Pete, you outlasted the bastards, man!"

Marxism is the defense of the poor against the rich.
Nothing else.

Do you approve that African and Chinese children are employed to make richer the smartphone enterprises leaders?

Communists got cars, fridges and scooters too.

That has nothing to do about having a few commodities.

The problem is wasting raw materials by producing useless commodities, because enterprises need each year to make money to pay their employees and shareholders.

If you spend a little bit time, you will learn that today, a lot of objects are thrown away even if they work perfectly well.
Tons of garbages are not recyclable.

What are doing our governments today? They send them in Africa or in China to bury them.
In Switzerland, they recently dug huge holes that are several times bigger than soccer stadiums, to burry non-recyclable materials.

We transfer our garbages to your nephews, nieces, their children.... to the next generations.

I'm surprised that you defend this kind of devastating system.

Do I
That's what your beloved Marxist thinking led to. That is inhumanity at it's worst.

Sorry, but this thread is as you started about Communism, so therefore you can defend it .... I don't need to defend Capitalism here as it isn't the thread topic But for the record and to answer your question ... I really don't care for one simple reason ..... nobody is held at gun point and made to work there .....thats very simple to understand , it is their choice to be there, it's choice not force or law.

Don't throw it back at us who oppose you ..... you can defend that pathetic wall the Communists built, the Gulags for political prisoners, the hundreds of thousands who disappeared all under that pathetic fucked up ideas of Marx.

I really love the way you avoid answering some questions here that deal with plain fact .... I answered your question about the smartphones, and it was 100 % my way of thinking .... now please do me the courtesy of explaining my post about Nicolae Ceaușescu or that Berlin Wall picture ...... or is it too hard to admit what Marxist crap led to

Both sides made mistakes. It's more honorable to see history like this and going forward.
Past is past. Present is present.
TODAY African and Chinese children work and die to make cheap commodities in our supermarket.
That's the present.
Is it the fault of Stalin?

Capitalist shareholders DO NOT PAY the correct price of the work of Third World Children. That's the today reality.

Would you send your nephew in a Congolese mine for 40 cents per day?

No it wouldn't, you brought up Buddhism in some misguided attempt to bolster up your personal views of Marxism, you just didn't like the answers you got that involved Buddhists.

Communism. Good or bad. What do you really know about Communism?

As E says this thread is about Communism, it's been tried and failed every time, it is like giving the kiss of life to a Dodo.

The child abusers among priests are very much a small minority. I grew up Catholic, attended Catholic schools, was an altar boy, and never encountered a priest or brother who made sexual advances towards me. This includes several brothers at the Catholic college I attended who were quite obviously gay.

I read in a newspaper article that statistically Catholic priests were less likely to have committed sex abuse than police officers, psychotherapists, or Protestant ministers. The Church ought not to have simply transferred offenders to other parishes and grievously failed to address the trauma of the victims, but the "mass ranks" is a gross exaggeration.

Mind you, I ceased believing in their doctrines a long time ago. The Church behaved exactly like corporations and the military have done. They closed ranks to protect the institution and sought to expel and silence the victims.

I wanted to reply yesterday night, but it was impossible.
That's the good facts of regulation.
Look how regulation can be good. No flood. Sharing nicely bandwith.

No that's not the choice of children of 12 years old to work in a coltan mine.
It's because their fathers are dead and they have to support their younger sibblings.

So what would be wrong from Apple, Nokia, Microsoft, Blackberry or Samsung to pay correct infrastructures and good salaries.
It's because shareholders do want the maximum dividends and customers don't want to pay the correct price of an Iphone.
The correct price would be at least 5000$, not 600$.

As a fan of Bruce Springsteen, how can you defend a system that is so unfair with African and Chinese children or adult minors (and workers in general) ?

I NEVER bought any smartphone, never.
I don't get any TV.
I bought my computer in 2012. When one of my colleagues spoke to me about the smartphone report in 2016, I had no idea that African minors worked in such miserable condition. This colleague, who is a father of three children and was a proud capitalist, was shocked to know that the technology he promotted was made on children exploitation. He told me: "How can we fight against this. There are children. But I need a smartphone for my job."
I answered: "It's only because customers do not pay the fair price."

Believe me, personnaly I'll never buy anymore a new computer.
As I stopped to contribute to animal exploitation.

Prices of commodities have to be fair, expensive.
Rich people don't have to be rich.
Capitalism has to disappear or really put under very very strict and fair control.
Shareholders have to disappear too.

After the subprime crisis, a lot of educated people understood that the actual form of Capitalism has to disappear.
Only psychopaths can defend the capitalism.

That's exactly the same debate about Marxism.

Unfair people take the monstrous stories of pedophile priests to tell: "Catholic are pedophiles, Catholicism is a religion of perverts".

But if they will take the time to read the New Testament, they will find that the apostles never transcribed the least sentence of Jesus Christ declaring:: "Get sex with children."

What is different about Capitalism. Capitalism started by spoiling English peasants, exploiting African slaves and European working classes.
Capitalism always was unfair with millions of workers.

If workers are paid the real price of their work, there are no benefits to be shared.

Observing the dangerous derives of Capitalism, several professors of economy fond of Karl Marx' theories, try to find solutions.
But these solutions request a lot of controls of the Capitalism.

In France there are several professors teaching in university that promotes modern communisms.
As example: A communism based on three levels of salaries, but no more dividends. More you get qualifications, more you get a higher salary, but a worker who doesn't want to get qualitication will earn a basic but correct salary.

That's that modern Marxism or modern Communism, whatever how people want to call it.

Both systems tend to produce bastards in charge, Capitalism does help produce highly paid morally bankrupt selfish rich bastards and Communism produces evil tyrants who stamp on free will.

As has been said before, you started this thread asking for peoples views on Communism, you now have your answers. It breeds evil.

You are like a dog chasing its tail here, if you want to start a similar thread on Capitalism, good or bad where you can put your points forward and argue away to your hearts content with anyone who wants to listen then that may be better.
