Oh yes in their own country they don't care about being pc or human rights for that matter. However with them trying to impress the west you thought they may have checked to make sure no one would be offended.

The thing is though I am not sure what upset people here the most, The fact that the Chinese wrote it or that for some areas its actually true what they said.

I have seen reports that North Korea is showcasing its nuclear capability to keep China at bay and maintain its autonomy. Other reports state the China has greatly reduced trade with North Korea, especially food shipments, in efforts to encourage Kim Jong-un to exercise restraint. This is very real pressure because Chinese aid is virtually all that has kept North Korea functioning at a minimal level. For all the bluster towards the United States, it is China and South Korea that are most threatened by nuclear attack from North Korea.

Nothing like a madman with nukes to make everybody nervous.

Seems in my own hometown we can't just call them what we once called them

We were on our hometown this arvo, us boys went for a few beers at an old pub that's been made upmarket in recent years, good job they did also

Anyway

I've rarely mentioned this one here, but one of my oldest mates is a Fag, he even call himself that, even calls himself an ageing poof for a joke

He don't fit that Gay stereotype and anyone that meets him would never suspect him being Gay.

We were having a few beers and he was late arriving, when he did we saw him from across the bar and one of my other Mates yelled out to him... Over here ya old Poof

That met with an argument from a dopey looking mid twenties girl who took offence and said we need to respect the LBGT community

Good Lord, they're no longer just plain ol' Gay, now they're LBGT
