Demsal8, I've got a feeling you are a perfectionist in a very big way (I am also in many areas of my life but not on here cos my knowledge of computer systems & their operation is so poor I cant get close to what I would like to achieve). As a result some of your pics are not to your satisfaction but everyone else & especially me, think they're pretty close to perfect.
As I've come to the opinion that you're a perfectionist I'm happy to let you do what you want with pics & I'll be happy with the results. I'll bear the point about hair in mimd & look for pics with tightly tied back hair.
FF is full frontal I thought it was universally understood here, theres a lesson to me there about using jargon without explaining it.

@nopar king - Please don't take what I said about the hair as criticism, it wasn't meant that way. You can submit any pictures you want and I will do my best with them. It's just that if you want multiple backgrounds or strange lighting, the fly-away hair becomes an impediment to doing many different versions, or at least to doing them quickly. I still have the Jilly data on file and I can produce a new version within a couple of minutes, but similar changes to Jerri and Mel will take at least an hour each. I'm limited in the amount of time I can spend on this stuff each day (24 hours each day is my maximum limit) so doing a lot of these changes can eat up a significant amount of that. Maybe I spoiled you with the Jilly pictures, they were so easy to change, and, like I said, you provided the perfect picture to play with. As far as the FF, yeah I figured that out before you replied. Just remember I'm a newbie on this or any site (less than a month now, my first day was 23 May), I've been living without internet access for over ten years. This has been fun for an old man who mostly lives alone.
For a lark, I am including two new pictures from my collection that seem perfect for changes but would have the same problem as the two you submitted because of different problems. The feathers in the first and the splayed fan in the second would cause the delay in attempting to make multiple changes. But they were fun to do the one time I worked with them.



p.s. - I understand computers very well, I worked with them professionally for 30 years. But I'm still green to a lot of the stuff necessary to operate around some of these sites. If you go over to the celebrity fake thread, you'll find a post by me where I did a fake of Barbara Eden. The girl on the right above donated the mammaries for that change.
p.p.s. - One secret to my success is the fact that when I work on these pictures, I blow the image up to 400% and sometimes even 800% to make sure I 'stay between the lines' and also when doing the initial cleanup. At that power you see all the warts like small mountains. Do that with the 'finished' Jerri pictures around the reworked hair and you'll see what I mean. But remember, these photos have already been cleaned up, the worst of the problems have disappeared already. I don't see that as being perfect, I just believe it's part of doing a good job. I looked at some of the stuff the 'flash in the pan' colorers did early in this thread, and they were obviously more interested in speed than quality.

First, I need to apologize. In post 122 of this thread, I included two original color pictures of Jerri Byrne without giving credit to the OP. That would be greenman, I am sorry for the omission.

@nopar king - I have some results for Mel but we're going to do some teaching again so put on your thinking cap!

First picture, the original you gave me, but no one, me in particular, think that writing on a pretty girl's picture is cool (unless it's on a T-shirt), so it goes away. At the same time I do some cleanup AND convert the picture to b/w. All pictures I have received here have been in color format, and some have colors on them despite the fact that at a normal glance, there are no colors. I don't like any residual colors tinting what I am doing, therefor the change. Third picture, color the girl. The only example you gave me of her with clothing on showed the swimsuit, earing, bracelets, headband and lipsitck in the same color. I chose blue, but I object somewhat to putting blue lipstick on anybody, so a slight change. But both examples showed not a shread of fingernail anywhere I could see, so I followed my general rule of thumb and made the nail polish the same color as the lipstick. Still straigtforward. Fourth, color the background. And this is something you never see; when the green color from a light grey background is run over the darker hair to blend it in, there is a flare of color because the brush being used is GREEN. To make that flare disappear, I use a much smaller brush in the hair color with a high transparency and trace every thread I can find (at high magnification) several times until the flare disappears. But when you get done, the hair includes both the hair color and the background color. This is what takes the real time on a picture like this, nearly an hour in this case until the final results is shown in picture five. Looks better doesn't it? But the only change between photo 4 and 5 was taking the flare out of the hair.





I'm not done with Mel yet, I think I have a better way of changing the background and merging it into this photo. And I may yet revisit the Jerri pict for some more changes. But first, I'm going to work on the two pictures for DEB JORDAN FAN before I return to your work. Hope you understand.

Oh, as a further correction, when I mentioned the Barbara Eden fake, it's in the CLASSIC Celebrity Fake thread. My fault. I had trouble finding it myself until I realized my mistake.

@DEB JORDAN FAN - more fodder for your folder. And I have a confession to make. I was using the third photo below as a color model for the second when I noticed that the hair on her forehead had not been colored. So I finished it up and am including the revised version here as a peace offering for making the mistake. Are we still friends? By the way, if you can scrape up any more from your bottomless barrel, send them on.

I've often considered writing a program that will automatically detect and remove lettering from a picture. The major problem is that the data compression used on most of these pictures (jpg) expands the effect of the letters far beyond their obvious visual scope. Anyhow, color will follow:
