Hi Kelly.
If they only do a recurring subscription then yes you would have to cancel before it rebills. I'm not aware of it having auto rebills. May be wrong. Is the free mode of FileFactory really bad these days?

BCFC - the free file factory is relatively slow maybe around 2.5 to 3 hours to download a 500mb file and that's on what is usually a very fast internet connection. though it isn't anywhere near as slow as the likes of rapidgator but 500mb on deposit files for free would probably not take me 45 minutes.

How long on depositfiles M?
Kelly - are my files some of the ones you are struggling with? If so let me know if you need them compressed more or I'll try to investigate getting them up on depositfiles too? Anything I can do to help, I'll try. Thanks

45 minutes tops for 500mb - I get ridiculously fast speeds for free on deposit files - i have no idea how, i don't have accelerators or download helpers installed at all and never have had. I can't explain it, it may even just be me, i don't know what i've done or if it's just pure luck. it's certainly in the top three of free fast speeds for me. edit: just timed deposit files 100mb in 8 minutes

Ok. Will look into it.
Traffic share Is enabled at the beginning of the month on filefactory...100GB of traffic is treated like downloading asa free user so you may want to try downloading then. Trying to do what i can

Kelly/M/any others who would prefer depositfiles...
What is the maximum size of a file you would prefer to download from depositfiles? 300MB? 500MB? 1GB? Or the full size of the file?

I've done plenty of full gb downloads from deposit files so the file size makes little difference to me. The only thing i would say is don't go changing to deposit files on the basis of anything i've said - i was simply comparing speeds, i couldn't, for example, tell you how safe files are on there either from being taken down or being lost by the host. I have a couple of friends who use file factory with traffic share and the difference that makes to a download puts all others firmly in the shade. I'm currently downloading a file factory file in normal mode from somewhere and have got halfway through the 250mb in 46 minutes

Thanks BCFC_1982 for your kind offer.
Please don't do anything specific for me. I am quite happy for the computer to chug away for a couple of hours. Saying that, it would probably be more cost effective to buy a pass for FF then pay the leccy bill at the end of the month K. |

Ok. If anyone needs something specifically, my door is open.
Please knock first before entering though...
