I hope this is on topic, but one of my great American culture loves is HOCKEY. I know that baseball is considered our national sport (am I wrong about that?), but I love how hockey players can play, get rough with each other, duke it out, go to the penalty box for two minutes and the game simply goes on.

Here is a video of some of my favorite NHL hits. I never want any player to get hurt on the ice, but you've got to hand it to these guys: they're pretty tough dudes!

In the 50íes and 60´ies in Denmark,the brand Jolly Cola had a significant amount of the market,due to not so favorable thoughts of products coming out of the american market.Of course that have changed over the years,and as a swedish guy myself,it tasted like .....,the Jolly Cola did.

Just a small modern cultural reference to add to the mix,and probably every country out there tried to counter the american influence.

Don´t get me wrong,I´m a huge fan of american culture,mainly music and literature,but in Europe,there have been some opposition.

This might be cliché, but here on the West Side, we are know for our beaches and laid-back personalities.

And every so often, you get to go to the beach and see something totally hella-cool (is that word outdated

One of my favorite YT videos is the "Evolution of Dance"

Basically it's a very talented guy showing how dance in the U.S. has evolved over the decades.

It currently has over 300 million views.

Over here, women love a guy who can move on the dance floor.

It's how we roll!
