ul troubles with Packupload

Since 3 days can't ul any file to PU. Either ul stops at about middle of file or isn't finished at "Link recovery..." without further progress.

Anybody else having these troubles?

This frequently happens with packupload. Their free service has made them popular and they've grown too fast. Their servers can't cope. I would suggest you try and upload at a different time of day when perhaps they're not so busy.

Yeah I had been trying on and off for the last couple of days

I had 8 files uploaded dating from March 2013 then uploading became a nightmare
No upload ever recovered a link - could never work out what the issue was

I'd be wary of uploading too much to just one free hosts because they all rely solely on ad revenue....when their server capacity is stretched they either stop uploads (my best guess)
or they go on purges to rid themselves of inactive files which arent generating any income

Spread the risk is my advice even if its among these types of free hosts
ie zippyshare , the other french one 1filchier

As some heavy uploaders have been saying lately smaller accounts even on the same filehosts are wiser than bigger ones because far too many accounts are lost with little more than 2 dmca notices and when inactive files start mounting up its not surprising when deletions occur.

Now off to mirror those 8 files to a new STABLE free user friendly home

Any day and night time I tried last 6 days ul stopped at "Link recovery..." without further progress...

Exactly the same happened to me yesterday. I tried to upload and it froze while 'retrieving links'

After half an hour there was still no progress, so I canceled the transfer and uploaded to zippy instead, and it only took 30 minutes or so for the entire movie (ca 700 MB)

You only need go back to when they were first mentioned back 11/2012 to see they have uploading outages every couple of months which lasts for weeks.

Should be enough of a recurring sign to tell uploaders dont try and upload too much to them
when their working because its not sustainable.

Especially those with large 1 click uploads

Just tried with a 839mb file, Got to 3% and tapered down to 12 kb's
