Penthouse Pets VS Playboy Playmates

Yes many girls do now get pics sold to many publications, but for many of us there was a time when the line was drawn.
For fun name a penthouse pet and playboy playmate you like...( we all dipped in both pools..lol ). I have my penthouse girl Sabrina west, she is so good that not worth me having a say here.

My all time fav. Pl@ym@te is CORINNA HARNEY, actually she is my all time fav. model period.
(I collect every pic and vid of Ms. Harney I can find - she's my collectors obsession you could say:-)

(ed. - Penth0use started to go downhill fast in the early 90s, and Pl@yb@y followed suit in the 2000s. (Pl@yb@y occasionally still has a beautiful Pl@ym@te, but Penth0use hasn't had a really hot Pet in 20 years or even more:-(

If I had to pick right now, I would've gone with Pl@yb0y over PNTHS just because I cannot pick my favorite ever. There's such a long dominating string 10s that it was the odd occurrence when I saw that wasn't perfect in my eyes. PH was a different story. I liked some of the non-pets better than pets on many times.

But for the sake of the game. The first time we saw Pam Anderson in PBY, my jaw dropped. And I thought the bunny had gone to a whole new level. Honorable mention: Brady Brandt --the first pmate that I was older than she.

For PH, there's only about 5 I'd put into the all time fav category. Sheila Kennedy, Kirsten Knudst (probably spelled that wrong), Michelle Walker, Justine Delahunty, and Simone Brigitte. I guess I'll go with Sheila Kennedy.

I freely admit my answers are subject to change in the next few minutes.

In my opinion the difference is the Quality. PH is not very eye appealing. Some pictures are just nasty. PB has a very erotic and high quality. The girls look better to me.

First, PH has had an outstanding history, and before going hardcore, they had their share of beautiful women, such as Bonita Saint, Diana Van Laar, Emma Nixon, Julie K. Smith, Leslie Glass, Mahalia Maria, Samantha Phillips, Sandra Taylor, Theresa Presley, Seana Ryan, plus beautiful, softcore "love sets". While I liked the soft focus photography of the earlier era, I preferred the models from the late 80's and early 90's.

However, PB, especially prior to 1995, was truly the gold standard of beauty in America. The list of PM's and models from the 70's, 80's, and early 90's would be too long for this post. PB offered stunning women and magnificent, high-quality photography month-in and month-out.

And it just wasn't beauty and quality, the fantasy and eroticism was mind-blowing. One thing I appreciate about vintage PB was that, for most of the time, they didn't do the full "pussy shots". While I can see why most readers appreciated that in PH, having less of that (especially when pubic hair was more "in vogue" and just showing the fur), was classier and made for more erotic photos, IMHO.

So, PB, historically, will always have it over PH.

From about 1980 until about 1990 Playboy had so many great looking women. The era started about the time of Dorthy Stratten and ended about the time of Pamela Anderson. In that time period the women who appeared in Playboy were way ahead of any other nude publications. They almost compared with Sports Illustrated women.
In the 1990 hardcore porn produced women who were much more attractive than Playboy or Penthouse.
Anita Blonde and Angel Dark are examples and even today women like Tori Black are much more attractive than any Playmate I have seen in a long time. Playboy has fallen. They seem to go after the surgically enhanced, sleuth look instead of the girl next door look.

In the 70's it was a contest between PB's airbrushing and PH's vasoline on the lens so you could not be sure just how good the women really looked. I went to a car show in '79 where I got autographed pix from PB PM's Gail Stanton, Vicki Witt, and Janet Quist. Only Janet looked as good in person. At a Formula One race, I saw PH POTY Dominique Maure, and she did not look too good. At the same race, PB PM Candace Collins was the race queen, and she looked great in person, especially those amazingly blue eyes of hers. PB girls might possibly be prettier, but I think PH girls are hotter.
